Jason Babin rips out dreadlocks from Andre Ellington's Hair (Video)

We can only assume this happened on a -1 yard reception by the Cardinals running back with about three minutes left in the third quarter. After one play on Sunday, Babin came away with some of Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington's hair. After stopping Ellington, Babin emerged from a crowd with Ellington's locks in his hand. He inspected his clippings and then threw them down to the turf at EverBank Field.

Evan Turner Poster Dunk On LeBron James Video

Evan Turner dunked on LeBron James as part of a 19-0 76ers run to start the game against the two-time defending champion Miami Heat on Wednesday. With roughly 10:30 remaining in the first quarter, Turner found himself ahead of the play in transition, with only James standing between him and the hoop. Gathering himself just outside the restricted circle, Turner rose for a two-handed dunk over the top of James, who attempted to block the dunk with his right hand. It is unusual that LeBron is on the receiving end of one of these dunks, usually he is the one doing the dunking. The Heat fought back though. At the end of the first quarter the score was 33-4, Sixers. In the second quarter the Heat went on a 14-4 run of their own to narrow the gap. The Heat can’t be counted out, even with an early big lead.

Dez Bryant explodes at Tony Romo, Jason Garrett On Sideline Video

Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was caught freaking out on the sidelines in Detroit on Sunday, but it's unclear what caused this outburst.Bryant had only two catches for 22 yards at the time, but he also had a sick touchdown catch in the first half. The Cowboys also had a 13-7 lead, which makes it a mystery as to why he threw a tantrum on the sidelines.Bryant followed the tantrum with a 50-yard touchdown catch that put the Cowboys up 27-17. Detroit managed to pull off a last minute drive and TD plunge by Matthew Stafford to secure a 31-30 lead with 12 seconds to go in the game, leading to Bryant getting in a shouting match with tight end Jason Witten:To top things off, the unhinged receiver got into it with Jason Witten after the Lions scored late in the fourth. Witten, of course, was having none of it, and rightfully so. What a perfect mess. Dez is either making an exemplary play or sporting the Keystone Light “bitter beer face” while lighting up teammates on the sideline. It’s not clear exactly what had Bryant upset, but it may be the fact that he only caught two passes for 22 yards in the game’s first three quarters. Bryant said last week that he can do whatever Detroit’s Calvin Johnson can do, but Johnson has nine catches for 221 yards so far. However, Johnson also has a fumble, one of four Detroit turnovers.Bryant, who claimed during the week leading up to the game that he was capable of doing everything that Lions receiver Calvin Johnson can do, may have been unhappy at his lack of opportunities. At the end of the third quarter, Bryant had two catches for 22 yards on five targets, while Johnson had ripped the Cowboys secondary to bits with nine catches for 221 yards on 11 targets.

Jon Accused of Cheating in World Series

Red Sox ace Jon Lester pitched a gem against the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 1 of the World Series, scattering five hits while striking out eight over 7.2 scoreless innings en route to an 8-1 Boston drubbing for an early 1-0 series lead. But did he have some extra help in shutting down the St. Louis attack? According to Cardinals minor league pitcher Tyler Melling, the answer to that question is a resounding yes: We can clearly see something on the inside of Lester's glove, though what that may be is nothing but pure speculation. But did he have some extra help in shutting down the St. Louis attack? There's a Vine video, too, taken by a person who appears to be a Cardinals fan, of Lester going to his glove to add whatever foreign substance it might be. It could be avocado (or, at this point in the game, guacamole), which still is against the rules, though guac doesn't have the same reputation for making the ball drop like petroleum jelly does.We cannot draw any conclusions from this video,” an MLB spokesperson told the Daily News' Andy Martino. "There were no complaints from the Cardinals, and the umpires never detected anything indicating a foreign substance throughout the game.”

Carlos Beltran leaves Game 1 with Rib's injury

With his team down, 5-0, Cardinals right fielder Carlos Beltran left Game 1 of the World Series vs. the Red Sox before the start of the bottom of the third inning. Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright was struggling for the second straight inning, facing a bases-loaded, one-out jam with a run already across in the frame and dangerous David Ortiz at the plate. Ortiz ignited the Fenway Park crowd with a fly ball to deep right field, where Beltran crashed hard into the low wall and reached over to take away a grand slam.St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran exited Wednesday's opening game of the World Series against the Boston Red Sox in the third inning with what the team is calling a right rib contusion.

New York Jets fan punches woman in face during stadium brawl

A presumably drunken New York Jets fan got into a fight during the team’s game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. After scuffling through the crowd, the man hauls off and punches a woman in the face.A commenter on the site said that the fight started over a rivalry between Jets and New England Patriot fans. “The whole thing was shameful it’s a football game and you don’t hit a girl or call her a bitch,” the commenter said.Although there is no sign of stadium security or police in the brief video filmed as fans exited the stadium, a team spokesman told the New York Daily News that the incident didn't go unnoticed.Nothing too strange about that, especially coming just after a closely fought game between a team from New York/Jersey and a team from Boston. However, what makes this one totally disgusting is the male(douche) Jets fan who punches a blonde-haired, petite, female, Patriots fan in the kisser.

UFC 166 Cain Velasquez vs Dos Santos Full Fight

UFC 166 takes place on Saturday night in one of the most eagerly anticipated Ultimate Fighting Championship match ups of the year, with the main event being Cain Velasquez vs Junior dos Santos. Online preliminaries will start at 6 p.m. ET, with regular preliminaries starting from 8 p.m. ET.In the main event, UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will defend his title against Junior dos Santos. Roy Nelson will square off against Daniel Cormier in the co-main event.Seeing that the first fight ended with dos Santos rocking Velasquez in little more than one minute to win the title, and the second fight was vastly different with Velasquez pummeling dos Santos in his own game and utilizing takedowns, too, this fight could not be more of a toss up to call. Though fighting at heavyweight on Saturday, Daniel Cormier is expected to move to 205 pounds in his next outing. An impressive win over Roy Nelson at UFC 166 could position Cormier for a quick shot at the light heavyweight strap. On the heels of a controversial loss to then-champion Benson Henderson, Gilbert Melendez will try to jump back into the title hunt Saturday. Standing between the former Strikeforce champion and another shot at the belt will be fellow former title challenger Diego Sanchez.

After Utah Valley secured a win over New Mexico State on their home floor Thursday, the Wolverine fans stormed the court. As time expired and fans piled onto the area of play, New Mexico's K.C. Ross-Miller zipped the basketball at a UV player. The ensuing fracas will become part of the narrative of court-stormings, a discussion that has persisted among fans and media members in college athletics.Details are still emerging from UCCU Events Center, but the already-tense scene escalated when K.C. Ross-Miller of New Mexico State threw a basketball at Utah Valley's Holton Hunsaker. Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports spoke to the Utah Valley sports information director, who indicated subsequent brawls then broke out between New Mexico State players and fans on the floor. The whole incident starts after a direct and hard toss of the basketball by New Mexico State's K.C. Ross-Miller toward Utah Valley's Holton Hunsaker. That prompted an on-court skirmish between the teams that spilled over into the rumpus as fans took over a large portion of the court. The screengrab below, provided via Deadspin's Tim Burke, shows New Mexico State guard Daniel Mullings as the player in the center of the scuffle. Mullings needed two older men to physically remove him from the court.Enos hit three free throws with four seconds left in regulation to force overtime and made four more in the last 11 seconds of the extra session. David Ortiz Grand Slam Ties ALCS Game 2 In 8th Inning

BOSTON – A night after helping the Tigers take a no-hitter in the ninth inning, the bullpen faltered badly in the eighth inning. Jose Veras allowed a one-out double to Will Middlebrooks. Lefty Drew Smyly came in to pitch to left-handed hitter Jacoby Ellsbury and gave up a walk. Al Alburquerque was brought in and got Victorino to strike out, before giving up a single to Pedroia to load the bases. Tigers manager Jim Leyland then brought Joaquin Benoit to pitch to David Ortiz. Ortiz sent the first pitch over the fence in right for a game-tying grand slam. Tigers right fielder Torii Hunter went over the wall hard in an attempt.David Ortiz's grand slam off Detroit closer Joaquin Benoit tied the game 5-5 and ignited what had been a silent crowd at Fenway Park. Scherzer became the third Tigers pitcher in a row this postseason to start the game with at least five no-hit innings as Detroit is threatening to make short work of the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS.After Red Sox closer Koji Uehara held the Tigers scoreless in the top of the ninth, the Red Sox evened the series with a 6-5 walk-off win. Boston backstop Jarrod Saltalamacchia drove in the winning run with a single through the drawn-in infield but there was little doubt that Ortiez was the biggest hero of the night.

Pop duo t.A.T.u performing Sochi at Olympics Games opening ceremony

t.A.T.u.the duo famous for their faux-lesbian hit All The Things She Said, are reportedly performing at the Sochi winter games.Much has been reported about Sochi in the lead-up to the Games, from security concerns, protests against Russia's anti-gay “propaganda” law and the decidedly spring-like temperatures. And on top of all that, there's the price. With these Games reportedly being the most expensive in Olympic history – with an estimated $50-billion price tag – one can't help but wonder what we're going to see at the official kickoff to the Olympics. Multiple sources have confirmed Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina's presence at rehearsals in Sochi, with fans sharing photographs of the singers on stage and Volkova tweeting images of herself with Olympic athletes. According to the Washington Post, t.A.T.u.'s performance will be part of a warm-up that is not broadcast internationally, but Russia's Olympic team will enter Fisht stadium to the soundtrack of the duo's 2003 smash, Not Gonna Get Us.As is always the case for the opening ceremony, the details are largely under wraps. One element of the festivities drawing attention ahead of time was the performance of pseudo-lesbian Russian pop duo Tatu. Given the international outrage surrounding Russia's law banning gay "propaganda" to minors, the musical choice is conspicuous. The identity of the person who will carry the Olympic torch into the stadium to light the cauldron remained a secret before the ceremony. Whomever handles the honor will conclude a historic journey for the Olympic flame. The torch relay covered 39,000 miles during the relay.

George Parros Injured George Parros vs Colton Orr Fight

Montreal Canadiens enforcer George Parros was taken from the ice on a stretcher — and then reportedly taken to a local hospital — after he was injured during a fight in the season-opening game on Tuesday night. The 33-year-old fought Toronto Maple Leafs counterpart Colton Orr in the second period before tangling again in the third. Orr seemed to lose his footing at the end of that second fight, and fell to the ice with his opponent’s jersey still clutched in his hand. Parros fell hard. The two enforcers engaged with one another as Orr and Carter Ashton were trying to score on a two-on-one break early in the third period. As referees were approaching to stop the bout, Parros fell to the ground and drove his shoulder and head into the Bell Centre ice. The Maple Leafs and Canadiens are no strangers to fisticuffs in their games, as the Parros-Orr fight was the fourth one of the game. Both Parros and Orr received 10-minute game misconducts as well as five-minute majors for fighting.
