'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' Got Sung to Sleep by the Men of ‘Full House

First, the men of Full House reunited in an Oikos Super Bowl ad. Then Wednesday night, they gathered together once again to give us the reunion we really wanted: Bob Saget, John Stamos, and David Coulier reprised their Full House roles in a skit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where the three helped quell Jimmy’s fears about leaving for The Tonight Show.Danny Tanner, Uncle Joey, and Uncle Jesse stop by Jimmy's bedroom to teach him a life lesson about leaving "Late Night."You oughta know that Fallon's prop guys, though, had some terrible '80s wigs they were able to lend Bob Saget (what up, Temple?), Stamos, and Dave Coulier as they fell back on their time mentoring DJ, Stephanie and Michelle, encouraging Fallon and assuring him that everything would work out just fine. We’ll give Bob Saget a pass because that’s obviously his real hair. Bless the Late Night staff, they even recreated Michelle Tanner’s big girl bed for Fallon to pretend sleep in.The men of Full House, they’re not just in yogurt commercials anymore!

Marshawn Lynch Media Day Interview Super Bowl 2014

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch hasn't talked to the media very much this season, but when he finally got in front of a microphone at Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday, he ended up giving arguably the best interview of the day. However, Lynch did not leave the Prudential Center. (Heck, it was probably a long walk back to the hotel). Instead, Lynch hung around and spoke with teammates, wearing dark sunglasses and a hoodie to conceal his identity. NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders tracked down Lynch, though, and that's when things got weird. Lynch started the live interview with an s-bomb, which Sanders ignored. It ended with Lynch referring to himself in the third person as "Beast Mode," his nickname. After starting the interview off with a little swear word, Lynch shared why he isn’t a big fan of talking with the members of the media. He went on to give an entertaining interview that even included some comments in the third-person and everyone on social media seemed to love the moment.

Paul Pierce Emotional Boston Celtics Return Tribute

Former Celtics Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were honored with JumboTron video tributes in their first return to Boston since an offseason trade, when the Nets visited TD Garden on Sunday. Pierce, 36, was a 1998 lottery pick who spent the first 15 seasons of his career with the Celtics, making 10 All-Star Game appearances and earning four All-NBA selections. The small forward and longtime Celtics captain — nicknamed “The Truth” — ranks No. 3 in Celtics franchise history in games played, No. 2 in points, No. 7 in rebounds, No. 1 in steals and No. 4 in blocks.Garnett looked down at first, but eventually his eyes wandered to the video that showed his time in Boston from the press conference heralding the arrival of the New Big Three to his postgame yell after eliminating the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals: "Anything is possible!" He waved to the crowd, blew a kiss, thumped his chest and smiled at all of the fuss. Pierce seemed more emotional, looking up from the bench as his NBA life was replayed on the screen. From the time the Celtics took him 10th overall in the 1998 draft until last summer's trade, the player known as "The Truth" had spent his entire career in Boston. In addition to the on-court highlights, which included him receiving the '08 NBA Finals MVP trophy, Pierce's video had several scenes of him reading to children and working in the community as well as a clip of Jack Nicholson shouting, "You can't handle the truth."During the first TV timeout of the game, a video tribute to Garnett was shown on the TD Garden Jumbotron. But that was nothing compared to the reception Pierce (who had played his entire NBA career with the Celtics before this season) received during the break between the first and second quarters:Pierce averaged 21.8 points and 6.0 rebounds over 15 seasons with the Celtics, amassing 24,021 regular season points to become the second-leading scorer in franchise history. He was named the 2008 Finals MVP after helping the team end a 22-year championship drought against the Los Angeles Lakers. Friday night, Pierce tried to tell reporters what it might feel like to play in Boston for the first time as a visitor. "Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of emotions," he said. "You play your whole life there, you won a championship there, I mean, being the first time coming (back)...I never thought it would happen, but it is and it'll be here Sunday."

Royal Rumble 2014 Batista Wins 30-Man Battle Royal WWE

After being away from the sport for nearly four years, former WWE and world heavyweight champion Batista won the 30-man over-the-top-rope Battle Royal at the 2014 Royal Rumble on Sunday, Jan. 26.Batista entered the Rumble at No. 28, and outlasted Roman Reigns to win the epic event.Reigns broke the record for the most eliminations in the Royal Rumble and had the crowd behind him at the end of the night. When Rey Mysterio came out at No. 30 instead of Daniel Bryan, Mysterio -- normally a fairly over babyface -- was booed heavily. The rumble came to an end quickly after it was down to the final two. Reigns was on a record run of eliminating 12 men in the contest but wasn’t able to get the 13th that would’ve punched his ticket. He tried to whip Batista over the rope. Instead, Batista reversed and threw him over the top rather effortlessly to win the match and a trip to WrestleMania XXX and the main event for the WWE title.

The song of the year at the 56th Grammy Awards went to Lorde’s “Royals,” a study in class consciousness she and songwriting partner Joel Little wrote just to see if they could attract anyone’s attention. “We made this song originally to give it away for free,” Little said after they stepped up to the Staples Center stage to collect the songwriting award over nominated works by Bruno Mars, Pink and Nate Ruess, Katy Perry and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. “To be here now in this room with so many legends and people whose work I admire is an honor.” Lorde, the stage name of 17-year-old New Zealand singer-songwriter Ella Yelich O’Connor, said: “I probably wouldn’t be here if Joel wasn’t here. This guy has nurtured me through kind of my first year of songwriting, which I will forever owe him. Thank you everyone who has let this song explode, because it’s been mental.”Jay Z, who led all artists with nine nominations, did win best rap/sung collaboration for "Holy Grail," a collaboration with Justin Timberlake. Addressing his daughter Blue, Jay Z said, "Daddy just got a gold sippy cup for you." Macklemore & Lewis' "Same Love," a song written in support of same-sex marriage, is being singled out in a major Grammy event: a mass wedding featuring 34 couples taking the stage of Los Angeles' Staples Center. "Royals" spent nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was also nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Recent Song of the Year winners include Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and Coldplay's "Viva la Vida."

Benson Henderson vs. Josh Thomson Full Fight UFC on Fox 10

Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson hoped to earn another shot at the belt with an impressive showing against Josh Thomson. Instead, Henderson had to settle for a hard-fought split-decision win that earned a chorus of boos from the crowd in attendance. The lightweight bout was the main event of Saturday's UFC on Fox 10 event at United Center in Chicago. It aired on Fox after prelims on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Henderson took the center to start the contest and earned a smile from Thomson with an early high kick. Thomson quickly countered by moving inside and wrapping the body, slamming Henderson to the floor and immediately using his legs to lock in a body triangle an secure the back. Henderson patiently battled the hands as he looked for opportunities to escape, while Thomson looked at both the arm and the neck for potential submission opportunities. That unfortunate set of circumstances leaves the lightweight division without a number one contender, which is hard to believe considering the level of talent that occupies it. The quick and easy answer is to get T.J. Grant back into the number two spot after recovering from a concussion last fall.Thomson indicated to his corner after the second round that he thought he broke his hand, and Henderson came out aggressive in the third with a flurry of punches and a late takedown. In the fifth, Thomson landed a right hand and a sweeping leg kick, then got a hold of a kick attempt by Henderson and pushed him into the side of the cage. Henderson was able to get in one last body shot at the end of the round that ended with some boos from the crowd. Henderson gave up the title after being submitted by Anthony Pettis on an armbar at UFC 164. Henderson had a seven-fight winning streak going into the fight against Pettis, the second-longest run in lightweight history.Henderson's victory throws the lightweight division into question. Thomson was scheduled to get a title shot at champion Anthony Pettis in December, but Pettis had to pull out and undergo knee surgery. Henderson is the clear-cut No. 2 in the division, but he has lost twice to Pettis. Those are Henderson's only two losses in his past 19 fights, as he improved to 20-3. Thomson dropped to 20-6 with 1 no-contest.

Injured Kowalczyk wins Olympic cross-country gold Medal

Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk, skiing on a broken foot, produced a one-sided victory at the Olympics Thursday in the 10-kilometer cross-country race. Kowalczyk won by nearly 20 seconds to give her a second cross-country Olympics gold. She also won the 30-kilometer, mass start race in Vancouver. The Polish skier injured both her left foot and ankle last month and on the day after the opening ceremonies in Sochi she put a picture of the X-ray of her foot on Facebook. That picture showed a fracture, but it did not keep her away from the skiing course at these Games. Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland wins women's 10K classical despite fractured foot As her rivals tired in the heat, Kowalczyk showed exactly why this is her signature event, powering forward relentlessly toward the finish line to finish in 28 minutes, 17.8 seconds. She probably won't mind the pain too much after earning her second career gold medal, having won the 30K classical race in Vancouver four years ago. That time, she beat Marit Bjoergen of Norway in a tight sprint finish. On Thursday, there was never any drama as no one could keep up. Bjoergen, who won her fourth Olympic gold on Saturday in the skiathlon, was only 1.9 seconds back after 2.3 kilometers, but that gap grew to 9 seconds by the halfway point and the Norwegian simply ran out of steam after that. She finished fifth, 33.4 behind.

Colten Moore Wins Gold in Snowmobile Freestyle final at X Games Aspen 2014

The courageous Colten Moore competed in the 2014 Winter X Games Snowmobile Freestyle on Thursday and captured the gold medal. The 24-year-old's score of 91.33 on the opening run was enough to garner the top prize in Aspen, Colo. But this victory meant so much more than the hardware Moore collected. He produced a winning effort at the site of his brother Caleb's fatal accident last year, which marked the first death in X Games history. Moore was able to honor his late brother's memory by emerging as a champion."This is the greatest moment ever, to be able to come back and ride for my brother," Moore said. "And not just for him, but with him, because I know he was out here with me all night. To be able to come out here and get gold is unbelievable. I just give it all to him. I know he was the one helping me do everything I was doing. ... It's what me and Caleb grew up doing, pushing each other to go for it. I just knew that he'd be riding with me." Moore's father, Wade Moore, was watching just off the course, wearing a No. 31 hat in honor of Caleb Moore's bib number. It means everything," Wade Moore said, watching as his son took a victory lap. "He just wanted to ride, that's what he likes doing, he has fun doing it. That's all he and his brother did, and they're still doing it together, I promise they are."It was a dream the brothers shared. Natives of Krum, Texas, they grew up competing on all-terrain vehicles. Together, they came to Aspen in 2010 to pursue X Games gold. After Colten became the first rider to win two gold medals, Texas flags waved. Dozens of friends and family decked out in clothes to honor the eldest Moore brother — #31 Caleb Moore stitched in their hats — surrounded Colten for photos. It was an emotional reminder that while Caleb was not there, he was not gone. "To come here doing what we always came here to do is to dominate, I know he'd be super pumped," Moore said. "To come here and get gold for him, I couldn't ask for anymore."

Phil Jones' Missed Penalty Flew over Bar and Hit a Fan Flush in the Face (Video)

Phil Jones missed a penalty in Manchester United's shootout loss to Sunderland on Wednesday night. However, what he lacked in ability to put the ball where he intended, he made up for in unfortunate slapstick comedy. While Phil Jones wasn’t alone in missing his penalty, he at least made some sort of effort to add some comedy to proceedings as the ball flew off and hit a fan in the stands square in the face.Lastly, Jones’ penalty is being laughed over as his shot actually smacked a United fan right in face after it sailed wide of the target.Enjoy Phil Jones’ crap spot-kick together with jokes about the poor penalty.

49ers NaVorro Bowman Suffers Horrific Left Knee Injury

SEATTLE -- The San Francisco 49ers lost one of their best players to a serious injury in the fourth quarter of the NFC Championship Game at Seattle. Inside linebacker NaVorro Bowman suffered what appeared to be a gruesome knee injury on a bizarre play at the goal line. Bowman appeared to have a fumble recovery, but the officials ruled Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch ended up with the ball.Bowman, a candidate for the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award, was taken off the field on a cart, and 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said after the game it appeared Bowman suffered a torn ACL.Even worse: Bowman's left knee was pinned under Kearse as he went to the ground and he left the field on a stretcher. Karma doesn't need replay, however. On 4th-and-goal from the one-yard line, Marshawn Lynch mishandled the handoff and the 49ers ended up with the ball on their own 15-yard line. (Of course, two plays later, Colin Kaepernick threw an interception so ... who the hell knows what to make of this.)Earlier in the half, a Seahawks rusher should have been flagged for roughing the kicker, a 15-yard penalty, because he contacted punter Andy Lee's plant foot.Coupled with a broken ankle for left guard Mike Iupati, that’s a pair of dramatic injuries from a physical game. That will clear two more spots in next week’s Pro Bowl, in addition to the guys who will replace all the Broncos and Seahawks in the all-star game.James had attempted to field the punt from Seattle's Jon Ryan on the first play of the second quarter, but the ball hit off his chest. As he attempted to reach for the ball, Lockette hit James hard to the turf. The 49ers announced that James was questionable to return, but he returned to field a kickoff later in the second quarter.

Richard Sherman crazy post game interview with Erin Andrews Video

Richard Sherman’s trash talking knows no limits. Apparently he and Michael Crabtree were talking during the NFC Championship Game in Seattle on Sunday, so he really went off on the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver after making a huge play to set up an interception that sent Seattle to the Super Bowl. After tipping the pass to set up the game-clinching interception, Sherman gave Crabtree a sarcastic pat on the butt and then gave the 49ers a choke sign that resulted in a personal foul penalty. But that was only the start. The real fireworks came when Erin Andrews interviewed him on the field. The outspoken All-Pro was flagged for taunting 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree after the interception, but that wasn't enough for him. Sherman decided to take advantage of his brief time in the spotlight by calling Crabtree out during an epic rant while being interviewed by FOX's Erin Andrews after the game. The ringtone, which can be downloaded here, cuts out all the excess fat from the interview and shaves things down to the vital moments of the rant. There’s no Erin Andrews sound as though she’s fearful for her life, there’s no follow up question, it’s just Sherman ripping into Crabtree for doubting his talents as the best cornerback in the NFL. They say you can’t make your way around Seattle without seeing a person carrying a Starbucks cup, but now you won’t be able to drown out the sound of phones ringing to the tune of Richard Sherman’s rant.

Viktor Ahn of Russia won the gold medal in men's 1,000 short track, with teammate Vladimir Grigorev taking the silver. The mostly Russian crowd at Iceberg Skating Palace erupted as Ahn and Grigorev crossed the finish line Saturday. Sjinkie Knegt of the Netherlands claimed the bronze. It was Ahn's second medal of the Sochi Olympics, having given his adopted country its first short track medal with a bronze in the 1,500. Ahn was born in South Korea and competed in the Olympics for his native country before becoming a Russian citizen in 2011.Ahn delivered his adopted country's first Olympic short track medal with a bronze in the 1,500. The 28-year-old skater previously competed for South Korea as Ahn Hyun-soo, winning three golds and a bronze at his first two Olympics in 2002 and 2006. A career-threatening knee injury in 2008 forced him to miss the Vancouver Games. Ahn became a Russian citizen in 2011, saying South Korea didn't provide him the support he needed.Fellow Russian Vladimir Grigorev nabbed the silver medal, while Dutch skater Sjinkie Knegt made the most of his new lease on life by winning bronze after being given a spot in the finals at the discretion of the officials. Here is a look at the full finishing order for what was an extremely entertaining 1,000-meter final.

Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich Ejected Against Portland Trail Blazers After Yelling at Referees (Video)

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Despite getting ejected for heatedly arguing a foul and seeing Manu Ginobili strain a hamstring, San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich couldn't suppress a few smiles after the Spurs' latest home win. Tony Parker scored 20 points and Tim Duncan had 14 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks to lead San Antonio in a 106-88 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night, extending the Spurs' home winning streak to 12 games. Duncan's season-high in blocks helped the Spurs outscore the Timberwolves 54-34 in the paint and San Antonio finished with a 43-28 edge in rebounding. At the time of the ejection, the Blazers were leading 65-55. San Antonio then went on a 23-12 run to close out the third quarter, before Portland handily won the fourth quarter to pull off the road victory.Watch as Popovich argues with multiple referees in the game, leading to not one, but two technical fouls. Coach Pop was then ejected and had to leave the game. The scene wasn’t what you’d typically expect to see out of Popovich has he absolutely went bananas and lost his mind when trying to talk to the officials. Popovich had to be restrained and even then he was feisty enough to break free and come at the referees yet again. Popovich was ejected and escorted off the court, and while the Spurs aren’t the type of team to have these kinds of fits, Popovich has earned the right to a few blowups now and again — but still, this was insane to see.

USA Defeat Russia In Shootout thriller with 3-2

In a rare instance of a game exceeding its advance billing, Team USA and Team Russia battled hard and evenly through 65 deliciously tense minutes before T.J. Oshie scored the deciding shootout tally in the eighth round of the tiebreaking procedure to give the U.S. a 3-2 victory at the Bolshoy Ice Dome. Unlike NHL rules, international rules permit shooters to take multiple shots after the first three rounds of the shootout. Oshie had shot six times before giving the U.S. the win. U.S. goalie Jonathan Quick of the Kings stopped 29 shots in regulation and overtime. Russian goalie Sergei Bobrovski of the Columbus Blue Jackets stopped 32.The U.S.-Russia contest lived up to its billing as the most-anticipated game of the group phase of the Olympics.Russian President Vladimir Putin was in the audience and he celebrated when Russia opened the scoring on a goal by Pavel Datsyuk midway through the second period. Cam Fowler answered for the Americans late in the middle period, Joe Pavelski gave the United States the lead with 10:33 to go in regulation and Datsyuk tied it with 7:16 to go.In other words, the most hyped matchup of the group stage certainly lived up to the top billing. Let's see how the game played out and take a look at the updated group standings in a recap of the action from the Bolshoy Ice Dome.

UFC Fight Night 35: Rockhold vs. Philippou Full Fight

FC Fight Night 35 took off live from Duluth, Ga., Wednesday evening, bringing a fight card stacked with interesting and entertaining matchups to the MMA faithful across the globe. Luke Rockhold scored his first win in the UFC. Now he wants to avenge his first UFC loss.Rockhold (11-2) scored a first-round knockout over Costas Philippou on Wednesday in the main event of UFC Fight Night 35 at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga. The finish came via a left kick to the body, which rendered Philippou helpless at the 2:31 mark.Immediately after the result was read, Rockhold called for a rematch with No. 1 contender Vitor Belfort, the man who knocked him out in his UFC debut in May. "I want my rematch with Vitor, and I would like it here in the states," Rockhold said. "I will go through anybody I have to to get that -- especially Michael Bisping. That would be nice." A former Strikeforce middleweight champion, Rockhold entered the fight as a 4-to-1 favorite thanks in no small part to his grappling advantages over Philippou. The American Kickboxing Academy product showed little interest in taking Philippou down, however. He stunned him early with a counter right hand to the chin, and then went to work on his right side with kicks. The good news is, the win over Philippou puts him back into the mix at 185 pounds, boosting his record to 11-2 overall with nine finishes. The bad news is, he doesn't really gain any traction in a weight class that boasts several top contenders. We know that Rockhold isn't getting Belfort, because the Brazilian earned a division title shot against reigning titleholder Chris Weidman, which is expected to take place over Fourth of July Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. And it would be difficult to put him above the winner of Lyoto Machida vs. Gegard Mousasi, who bang it out next month in Santa Catarina. In his UFC debut, last May, Rockhold was knocked out by Vitor Belfort with a spinning heel kick. Riding high after his win, Rockhold let it be known that he wants a rematch with "The Phenom," even if he has to beat up Michael Bisping first to get that chance."I'm here. I'm not here to be good, I'm here to be great," Rockhold began. "I want my rematch with Vitor. I would like it here in the States. I'll go through anyone I have to go through to get that, especially Michael Bisping."

Nick Young Punches Dragic and Len and gets Ejected (Video)

PHOENIX -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young was ejected in the first half of Wednesday night's game against the Phoenix Suns after officials deemed he threw a punch at Goran Dragic. Young was retaliating to a hard foul from Suns rookie center Alex Len. After an officials review, Len was assessed a flagrant foul 2 and also was ejected. With the Lakers trailing 36-35 with 7:33 remaining in the second quarter, Young received an outlet pass on the right wing and tried to dunk over Len. Len made contact with Young's face with his right hand as he fouled Young to prevent the basket, sending the Lakers' leading scorer this season to the floor. As Nick Young was on his way to the basket and going in for a layup, Len committed a hard foul that floored the Lakers guard. The referees assessed a flagrant foul 2 to Len for his original foul. The flagrant foul 2 designation applies to contact that is deemed “unnecessary and excessive” and requires an automatic ejection. The referees ruled that Young was guilty of a punching foul, which also requires an automatic ejection. Len departed with two points (on 1-for-3 shooting) and three rebounds in four minutes.Young departed with nine points (on 4-for-8 shooting) and three rebounds in 11 minutes.

Bruce Springsteen & Jimmy Fallon "Gov. Christie Traffic Jam" Born To Run Parody Video

Chris Christie, a noted fan of The Boss (when he isn't sleeping through his concerts), probably won't love this. Last night on "Late Night," Jimmy Fallon and his guest Bruce Springsteen donned '70s-era Springsteen attire to parody the seminal New Jersey anthem, "Born to Run." Except this time, the lyrics were devoted to the "bridgegate" scandal surrounding Christie's apparently political closing of the George Washington Bridge, causing major traffic issues. The new song, titled "Gov. Christie Traffic Jam," started with Fallon — dressed as Springsteen — singing about being stuck on the George Washington Bridge for hours. He was soon joined by the real Boss."You've got Wall Street masters stuck cheek-to-cheek with blue-collar truckers," the legendary rocker, 64, sang. "And I really gotta take a leak.""The press conference went on and on," Fallon continued. "It was longer than one of my own damn shows," Springsteen jibed. Springsteen and the E Street Band were guests on the show to promote their new album, "High Hopes," released this week. According to The Star-Ledger, Christie has long been a fan of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. The Republican politician said in 2012 that he'd been to 129 Springsteen concerts, and cried after getting a hug from the singer at a benefit concert for Superstorm Sandy victims in 2012."They shut down the tollbooths of glory 'cause we didn't endorse Chris Christie," Fallon and Springsteen sang. "You're killing the working man/who's stuck in Governor Christie's Fort Lee, New Jersey traffic jam."

Nathan Baker Injured After Taking Shot to the Face

Aston Villa's Nathan Baker had to be carried off of the pitch during Monday night's match against Arsenal after Serge Gnabry's shot hit him square in the face. The 22-year-old copped the full force of Serge Gnabry's blast at goal while rushing out of defence in the 16th minute. He was assessed by medical staff on the field for seven minutes, during which time he lost consciousness. Baker was eventually stretchered to the Villa Park dressing rooms while wearing an oxygen mask, and took no further part in the match. Leandro Bacuna replaced him on the pitch. The immediate worry is, of course, that Baker has suffered a concussion. But generally, a stretcher is not involved in that sort of an issue, so it's really hard to say what might have happened. We will, of course, have updates as the emerge.

Dufour-Lapointe Sisters Wins Gold and Silver Medals In Women's Moguls

KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia (AP) — The Dufour-Lapointe family of Canada will have a few things to share and compare when they get home from Russia.Try Olympic gold and silver medals.Youngest sister Justine took the gold in women's moguls Saturday night and middle sister Chloe got the second-place prize.Sisters Justine and Chloe won the gold and silver medals, respectively, for Canada. Kearney, an American hoping to become the first freestyle skier in Olympic history to win gold at back-to-back Winter Olympics, finished third for the bronze. She'll officially retire after this year's games.Gold medalist Justine Dufour-Lapointe is 19 years old, while her silver medalist sister, Chloe, is 22. A third Dufour-Lapointe sister, 24-year-old Maxime, was also in the competition, but did not medal.Going to the Olympics as a family — eldest sister Maxime made it to the final and placed 12th — is something these three sisters have always believed was possible, even when others didn’t. They predicted it years ago, but few on Canada’s freestyle ski team really believed Maxime, who turned 25 as her sisters were getting their medals, would get the results she needed to qualify. She proved them wrong. Even after the sisters arrived, the team’s medal expectation was still one. They delivered two. Not much seemed to faze Justine on Saturday. When told Prime Minister Stephen Harper was calling, she calmly inquired, “individually or speaker phone?” “It’s awesome being the first gold medal (winner) for Canada. It’s great and I will embrace that moment forever.Maxime, who worked hard to change her style to get to the Olympics, said she wasn’t upset about not making it onto the podium. “I got caught by a technical mistake,” she said. “So what? I’m 12th in my first Olympics. There’s no disappointment. I’m going home head up.” The sisters, who skipped the opening ceremonies because they were too close to the competition, plan to stay in Sochi to soak it all in. “It’s crazy, being an Olympic champion. I don’t believe it,” Justine said, “but probably I will tomorrow.

LeBron James Gets Fouled Hard by Mirza Teletovic Video

LeBron James got loose on a breakaway vs. the Nets, and after delivering an offensive foul to Andrei Kirilenko, was fouled hard by Mirza Teletovic of Brooklyn trying to wrap him up. James was originally called for an offensive foul for pushing Andrei Kirilenko. Then, as he ran in for a layup, James was wrapped up by Teletovic. James clearly took offense, and a brief scuffle ensued.Mirza Teletovic grabbed LeBron James in the open court and LeBron did not enjoy it. LeBron rarely gets this upset during games, but maybe the nickname jerseys made him a little feisty.

Dwyane Wade Gets Away With Sick Seven Steps Travel vs Blazers

I understand it’s the NBA, so traveling and walks calls aren’t called with regularity. But this missed called is a ridiculous and the refs should be reprimanded. This uncalled travel by Dwyane Wade against the Portland Trail Blazers on Dec. 28 is the latest example. This is hardly a new issue, though. Even the great Michael Jordan got away with some pretty egregious traveling in his day.

J.R. Smith Unties Shawn Marion's Shoe During Knicks-Mavericks Game (Video)

J.R. Smith is a known knucklehead. Look no further than his ill-advised shot attempt in the New York Knicks' loss to the Houston Rockets on Friday night. Smith was at it again Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks, although this stunt didn't actually hurt his team. With a 10-22 record, the Knicks are looking for any type of edge to win games. With that said, this was a bush-league move by Smith, who is having an abysmal season.

Female Alabama fan attacks Oklahoma fan Video

A female Alabama fan was looking to fight an Oklahoma fan in the stands at the Sugar Bowl and wasn't going to let anyone get in the way. After another Bama supporter turned his back after pulling her away from the Sooners fan, the woman attacked.“Everyone's making me look like such a bad guy,” Pritchett told Yellowhammer. “What I did was probably not the thing to do. But they were taunting us. They began by going after me. But then they crossed the line and started taunting my 16-year-old son. This woman in the houndstooth jacket (does every female Bama fan own one of these blazers?) got into a little spat with a few Oklahoma fans and decided to launch herself into them. While the idea wasn’t great, you have to admire her execution. She gets some good air over the seats and lands right in the middle of the group. Michael Connolly, the alleged victim of the attack, tweeted that the Alabama fan is a mother of three who had her children at the game.

LeBron James Slips on the Court and Leaves Skid Mark

Miami Heat star LeBron James took a spill during the third quarter against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday that resulted in some serious skid marks on the court, giving the cleanup crew a very difficult time. That’s since been rectified, as James has been wearing the LeBron 11s on a regular basis. But a new problem arose during the Heat’s game against the Warriors on Thursday, when LeBron slipped in transition and the shoes left quite the skid marks on the Heat’s home floor. These courts are very smooth and well-manicured. These things are not supposed to happen. But that’s kind of what LeBron does, right? He makes things you didn’t think were possible look ordinary, even when he falls down.
