Mark Hunt vs. Antonio Silva Full Fight UFC Fight Night 33

In the main event at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs Bigfoot, former K-1 champion Mark Hunt (9-8 MMA; 4-2 UFC) faces Antonio Silva (18-5 MMA; 2-2 UFC). This 5 round Heavyweight fight headlines the event. The UFC Rankings have Bigfoot as the #4 contender at Heavyweight, with Hunt unranked. UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs Bigfoot airs live from Brisbane, Australia this weekend on Fox Sports 1. One very important note: because of the time change from Australia, this card will air live in the US on FRIDAY night, December 6 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.Hunt has had an up-and-down past few years in mixed martial arts (MMA). He lost his last bout in spectacular fashion when former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos knocked him out with a spinning heel kick at UFC 160 in May. Prior to that, "Super Samoan" had racked up a four-fight win streak and was knocking on the door of title contention. There’s no doubt he’s one of the most powerful and exciting fighters in UFC today. He has a golden opportunity to prove he can beat top heavyweights when he steps into the Octagon to face Silva.Hunt rose into title contention during 2013, winning four straight fights. However, in a May bout opposite Junior dos Santos, Hunt ran into a rare opponent who was capable of striking with him. While a knockout loss to Dos Santos set Hunt back, he has a chance to rebound in a big way against Silva on Friday in Australia. Ahead of this important heavyweight matchup, here is a closer look at how Silva and Hunt match up in all areas.

UFC TUF 18 Finale Fight Nate Diaz Vs Gray Maynard Fight

When Gray Maynard steps inside the Octagon tonight (Sat., Nov. 30, 2013) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, to take on Nate Diaz in a lightweight main event of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18 Finale, it won't be the first time the two have squared off.In fact, it won't even be the second. This fight caps off an odd sort of trilogy from Maynard and Diaz dating back to 2007. Both men came into the UFC through season 5 of The Ultimate Fighter. In that season, Diaz defeated Maynard by submission on the show before going on to become the TUF Season 5 champion. For years, that "exhibition" fight was the only blemish on Maynard's career. He avenged the loss in an official fight in 2010, taking a split decision win. Now, they look to conclude the trilogy and definitively prove who is the better fighter. In the main event, Gray Maynard will square off against Nate Diaz in a lightweight contest. Julianna Pena will face Jessica Rakoczy in the co-main event for the women's TUF 18 title.

Bill Belichick Rips Welker Over Hit On Talib AFC Championship

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots coach Bill Belichick called Wes Welker's collision Sunday with New England cornerback Aqib Talib "one of the worst plays I've seen," a sharp critique of the actions of one of his former stars. Belichick delivered the comments roughly one minute into his news conference at Gillette Stadium on Monday morning, less than 24 hours after the Patriots fell to the Denver Broncos 26-16 in the AFC Championship Game. Belichick's criticism was unprovoked, part of the coach's opening remarks, and stands as stinging commentary from a man who usually limits what he provides in a public forum."It was a deliberate play by the receiver to take out Aqib. No attempt to get open," Belichick said. "I'll let the league handle the discipline on that play, whatever they decide. It's one of the worst plays I've seen. That's all I'll say about that." The play that will now be talked about for years to come occurred in the second quarter Sunday. With the Broncos in the early portions of a drive that would put them up 10-0, Welker streaked through the middle of the field and smacked into a crossing Talib, who left with a knee injury and did not return."I was asked about the hit on Talib, and I feel badly for Aqib. The way that play turned out, I went back and watched it, which I didn't have a chance to yesterday. It was a deliberate play by the receiver to take out Aqib," Belichick said on Monday. "No attempt to get open. I'll let the league handle the discipline on that play. It's not for me to decide but it's one of the worst plays I've seen. That's all I'll say about that."The defense, just as it did when Talib was injured in the AFC title game a year ago, could not recover and Peyton Manning started picking it apart. Talib suffered a knee injury on a collision with Welker as he attempted to cover Demaryius Thomas on a crossing pattern early in the second quarter. Talib did not return to the game. After the game, Welker was asked about the play and said, “I think he was thinking the same thing and wanted to come underneath and we just kind of collided. … It wasn’t a deal where I was trying to hit him or anything like that.” Belichick's relationship with Welker dissipated toward the end of the receiver's six-year run with the Patriots, and the slot machine signed a two-year deal with the Broncos last offseason. They shared a very brief exchange after yesterday's game, though Welker did hug Robert Kraft during pregame warmups. It was obvious today Belichick didn't take too kindly to Welker when he only referred to him as "the receiver." Another point that shouldn't be lost: Belichick went all-out to defend Talib, who has become an in-house favorite in his season and a half with the Patriots, and the cornerback will be a free agent again this offseason. But that's for another time. For today, Belichick didn't pull any punches while publicly admonishing one of the most productive players of his coaching career.

NEW Little Things One Direction’s At iHeart Radio Album Release Party

Friday afternoon (Nov. 22), One Direction celebrated the release of "Midnight Memories" with a show at L.A.’s new iHeartRadio venue. Shortly after 2 p.m., the British-Irish pop stars appeared in front of a sea of screaming female fans and a handful of their parental chaperones. The band treated the audience to a Q&A session moderated by Ryan Seacrest and fielded questions from a few lucky fans. They also performed several tracks off their forthcoming release including “Best Song Ever,” “Story of My Life” and the title track, in addition to hits like “What Makes You Beautiful.”Contest winners queued up in rather English drizzly weather for hours to see Britain's sweethearts, screaming before the doors even cracked open at 1:30 p.m.; by the time fans were allowed inside, their excitement had reached a fever pitch, with even an onstage sighting of Niall Horan's guitar tech setting off a fresh wave of eardrum-shattering screams throughout the crowd. And when the actual 1D boys finally hit the stage at 2, the shrieking practically grew loud enough to entirely drown out the group's six numbers and between-song Q&A with host Ryan Seacrest. Also during the performance, fans were treated to clips of the band’s unreleased ultimate fan edition of their documentary "This is Us," which will be available on DVD and blu ray Dec. 17. The iHeartRadio One Direction CD release party will stream on Nov. 25 at 9pm ET on Yahoo Screen and will also be televised on The CW on Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. ET.

Alex Ariza Kicked by Alex Ariza BRANDON RIOS CAMP Video

Manny Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach, Brandon Rios' trainer Robert Garcia, and former Pacquiao and current Rios strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza were reportedly involved in a physical scuffle tonight in Macao. In fact, Ariza booted Roach in the chest in the midst of a heated verbal exchange between the two camps, one that apparently erupted when there was a dispute over whose turn it was to use the facility."I got struck by Alex Ariza. He kicked me in the chest," added Roach, who intimated that the race card was being used because he's Caucasian."Is that [the racist accusations] coz I'm a white guy?" Roach added. "You make the race issue such a big deal. That was way after the fact."Roach added that it was Robert Garcia, Brandon Rios' trainer who started the altercation.Pacquiao has lost his last two fights - to Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez - however he is determined to prove that his career is not over. "I'm excited because I haven't fought since last year," he said. "I feel like I'm excited, hungry to fight again; to prove that I can still fight. It's been a while I didn't fight." Rios, though, believes that he is in the perfect shape to inflict a third successive defeat on Pacquiao, who has won world titles at eight different weights.Clearly the trouble has been brewing for some time between Roach, Garcia and Ariza, and it was only a matter of time before things hit a reckoning point. This isn't the case of somebody manufacturing a feud in order to increase the pay-per-view buys. Roach doesn't like Garcia, and he doesn't like Ariza. The feeling is mutual from the other side. This real-life drama does add another dimension to what seems like an otherwise uninspiring fight.

Lion Kills Lioness In Attack At Dallas Zoo

A male lion attacked and killed female lion in their enclosure in front of dozens of horrified onlookers at a Texas zoo Sunday. Visitors at the Dallas Zoo said they thought the pair was merely roughhousing before blood started pouring from the 5-year-old lioness' Johari's neck. The attack took place around 2:15 p.m. Sunday in the zoo's Giants of the Savanna exhibit, which is home to two lions and three lionesses, all of whom were raised in captivity. Seemingly unprovoked, a 5-year-old male bit Johari on the neck. The other male lion joined in on the attack as stunned zoo-goers looked on. Before workers could intervene, the lioness was dead. Many visitors did not realize the lioness was being attacked by a member of the pride, who casually used its jaws to grab the lioness by the throat."Everyone thought they were playing at first but then they could see that she was struggling," Jim Harvey, who witnessed the killing, told WFAA. The lioness, nicknamed Jo-Jo, recently celebrated her fifth birthday. Nearly 100 guests sang "Happy Birthday" to her while she enjoyed a frozen cake, the zoo said.
