Ronda Rousey enters the fight with a perfect 12-0 record and has defended her UFC championship six times. Her last three fights have lasted 64 seconds combined. Holm enters the fight with a perfect 9-0 record having beaten Raquel Pennington and Marion Reneau to earn a title shot. Holly Holm stuck to the gameplan and landed shot after shot. She stunned Ronda Rousey with a big shot, then followed up with a huge head kick. A few hammerfists later and it's all academic. Rousey started on the outside and threw a left jab against the former boxer. Then she moved inside and tried to put a combination on the challenger. Holm cut her angles and landed a right, but Rousey tried to track her down. Holm dance on the outside, then landed a stiff right hand against the champ, then a right cross. But Holm broke loose and caught Rousey with a kick on the break. Holm landed a step-in left hand, but then got taken down by Rousey. The crowd buzzed, anticipating the patented Rousey armbar. In the second round, the action was much of the same before Holm caught Rousey completely unawares with a roundhouse kick to the neck. Dallas Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar leaves game with leg injury

Dallas Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar was carted off the field with an apparent left knee injury Sunday. Dunbar hurt his knee during the second half of the Cowboys game against the New Orleans Saints. He was helped off the field, not putting any weight on his left leg, before heading to the locker room on a cart with a towel over his head. Dunbar was having a terrific night on the ground with three rushes for 54 yards. Unfortunately, his night looks to be over after that. Early on in the 3rd quarter, Dunbar went to receive a kick but had his knee buckle as he tried returning the ball. He would go down in a ton of pain. Darren McFadden replaced Dunbar as the Cowboys' kickoff returner. But the bigger loss for the Cowboys is what Dunbar gives them in the run game and as a receiver out of the backfield. Dunbar had a 45-yard run to the right side on the second play of Sunday's game against the Saints.

Cormier, however fortunate the circumstances were to him to actually win it, was making his first title defense.Daniel Cormier opened the fight as the aggressor and there was little action till he got a hold of Alexander Gustafsson. Floyd Mayweather Defeats Andre Berto

Heavily favored Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeated Andre Berto in what could be the last fight of his career. The boxers went 12 rounds but there was no upset, with Mayweather winning by decision at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. Though the hype for the fight had been subdued throughout the week, Mayweather has stated the bout would be the last of his career. He reiterated his intention to retire after the fight, Mayweather is definitely the aggressor early on with several left jabs. Berto keeps grabbing his trunks with his left hand, not sure if that is a quirk or not. Not much action in the first round as Berto was being very cautious. Berto finally looks to be pushing the action at the start of the round. Mayweather is consistently evading majority of Berto's shots. Better round for Berto. Mayweather lands a good right to the face. Berto just cannot figure Mayweather out, he can't find a way to land many punches at all. The last 20 seconds of the round has had the most action of the fight so far. Both guys landed some punches, He also retained his undefeated streak, as Mayweather has now managed to tie the 49-0 record set by Rocky Marciano. Going into the fight, Mayweather claimed this would be his final bout, and it’s a claim he stuck to in his post-fight interview, as he addressed concerns that he’d injured his hand past the halfway point of the fight. “It doesn’t matter if I hurt my left hand and my right hand, my career is over,” Mayweather said, before going on to explain why he’s walking away from the sport of boxing. “You got to know when to hang it up. I think it’s my time for me to hang it up.” Is this it for Mayweather? We'll see. He seems set to tie Rocky Marciano at 49-0. Will he go for 50? He definitely isn't going to win any new fans tonight as this was a classic Mayweather exhibition. Crowd on their feet at the minute mark as it looked like Mayweather might be trying to finish Berto. Mayweather lifts his hands in the air at the end. Mayweather wins a unanimous decision, with the judges scoring it: 117-111, 118-110 and 120-108. iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/w9QihlG-Nag" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

Tim Tebow throws magical touchdown pass During Eagles' Game

The Eagles quarterback threw a beautiful back-shoulder touchdown pass to Rasheed Bailey during the second quarter of Philadelphia’s preseason matchup against the New York Jets on Thursday. On third-and-16, Tebow dropped back and fired to his left. Rookie wide receiver Rasheed Bailey turned and, as cornerback Dexter McDougle closed in, caught the pass for an 18-yard touchdown. Tebow completed 6 of 10 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in the first half. The Jets led 17-12 at the break. Strikes like that to Bailey are only going to help his cause as he makes his case for a spot on the roster. Tebow already has a good chance because of his versatility and the ability to run a read-option, but if he can show big pass play ability, the Eagles will have no chase but to keep him.

Will Smith ejected for foreign substance on glove arm

Brewers pitcher Will Smith earned an ejection tonight from crew chief Jim Joyce after Braves skipper Fredi Gonzalez raised an objection over the existence of a foreign substance on Smith’s wrist. Smith entered the game in relief of Matt Garza and hit Pedro Ciriaco with a pitch before throwing a first-pitch strike to Jace Peterson. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez then asked the umpires to check for a substance near Smith’s right wrist/forearm area. It looked a lot like Vaseline, which he could use to change the movement of his pitches. Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes that Smith was furious after he was ejected and was gesturing toward the Braves’ dugout as he walked off the field. Gonzalez argued that Smith was breaking the rules after the left-hander threw a pitch that bounced in front of the plate and hit pinch-hitter Pedro Ciriaco, the only batter he faced, in the leg.

Bryce Harper and Matt Williams Ejected Against Yankees

Bryce Harper took a called strike in the third inning of tonight’s Nationals-Yankees game in Washington. The call — which was the first pitch of the at bat — irked Harper enough for him to step out of the box, while home plate umpire Marvin Hudson traded words with the Nationals’ dugout. The argument appeared to center around a called first strike, and Harper’s deliberate movement into and out of the batter’s box thereafter. Hudson, however, told a pool reporter that it had “nothing to do with the box.”It is the second time in eight days that Harper and Williams were both ejected from a game. They were ejected from last Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks for arguing a checked swing.

She couldn’t control the tears rolling down her cheeks.Surely fans across America will keep this in mind and be good sports when ribbing that person in their pool who has a completely annihilated bracket. The Wildcats couldn't hit their shots when it mattered down the stretch vs. the Wolfpack, but at least one member of the Villanova University Band tried her best to hit a high note for VU fans as their offseason began earlier than they would have wanted.

Lightweight Championship Fight Rafael dos Anjos def. Anthony Pettis

Well, that was certainly surprising. Rafael dos Anjos made the absolute most of his UFC 185 title shot against Anthony Pettis, dominating him over a full 25 minutes to take a unanimous decision and the title belt in the process. Dos Anjos was truly a complete fighter - he scored a gaggle of takedowns, connected with very hard kicks and punches, and was just at a different level. Dos Anjos becomes the first UFC Brazilian lightweight champion with the win, and he did it in amazing fashion.Pettis and Dos Anjos traded kicks to open the fight. Pettis coming out first with a pair before Dos Anjos took over as the aggressor. Dos Anjos caught a punch from Pettis but responded with a big jab to the chin that seemed to rock Pettis a bit. Pettis held on and weathered the Dos Anjos pressure, going for a flying knee at one point. Pettis failed with a spinning back kick as he circled the outside of the Octagon. Pettis seemed to settle in and land some combinations, but caught another hard shot from Dos Anjos. Dos Anjos came to Pettis to start the round but Pettis landed some shots, seeming to try and avoid being held to the outside along the fence. Dos Anjos got Pettis in the corner and looked for a clinch, before abandoning and trying for the take down. Dos Anjos locked in the double under hooks and went for a knee. Then there were body kicks, which slammed repeatedly into Pettis’ flank. When Pettis countered with high kicks that had knocked out previous opponents, dos Anjos took them and kept forward pressure. Even on the ground, though, Pettis offered few problems for dos Anjos, who landed nine of 10 takedowns and worked effectively with ground and pound while on top. Pettis, who boasts five submission wins in the UFC and now-defnct WEC, was unable to scoot his hips to create an angle for an armbar or triangle. Meanwhile, he took countless elbows and punches on his back. Dos Anjos lands some big punches on Pettis and walks him down against the cage. Dos Anjos looks for yet another takedown and slams Pettis down. Dos Anjos works into side control and looks to grab a kimura for the submission. Pettis clasps his hands together trying to prevent it from being extended. Pettis gets out of trouble and returns to his feet. They trade low kicks and Dos Anjos moves in for another takedown. He gets it and Pettis has three and a half minutes left in his title run. Dos Anjos works his way into side control. Pettis stands back up halfway through the round but Dos Anjos maintains the clinch. Dos Anjos dumps Pettis right back down. Rafael dos Anjos def. Anthony Pettis unanimous decision .

UFC 185 : Joanna Jedrzejczyk def. Carla Esparza second-round TKO

Joanna Jedrzejczyk might have been one of the only people in the building who believed that she had what it took to dethrone UFC women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza. Maybe that’s because she knew something most didn’t, and it started with her stellar takedown defense. After shutting down nearly every attempt by Esparza (10-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) to get the fight to the floor, Jedrzejczyk (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) unloaded on the champ with sharp jabs and stinging right hands, hammering away until referee Don Turnage was eventually forced to call a stop to the bout at 4:17 of Round 2, making Jedrzejczyk the new UFC women’s 115-pound champ. The two spend about 30 seconds sizing each other up before any action. Jedrzejczyk came in with a punch and Esparza went for the take down but Jedrzejczyk defended it well. Esparza went for a take down and Jedrzejczyk defended it well. Esparza got her left foot and hanged on to it and eventually brought Jedrzejczyk down. Jedrzejczyk got back to her feet but Esparza had her against the fence in the clinch. They broke and went to the middle of the mat and Esparza continued to focus on getting Jedrzejczyk to the ground. That meant Jedrzejczyk spent most of her time and energy defending the take down attempts. Jedrzejczyk got a good shot as she broke out of Espraza’s hold and seemed to hurt her. Jedrzejczyk threw a few more shots between defending take down attempts from Esparza.Jedrzejczyk continues to press forward, she landed a nice combo. Jedrzejczyk with a huge straight right that rocked Carla. As Joe Rogan said, this is a huge mismatch. Carla shot in, but stuffed by Jedrzejczyk. Jedrzejczyk with another nice combo. Carla is 1 in 13 takedown attempts. Jedrzejczyk with another big right hand. Jedrzejczyk swarms her and finishes her on the feet.

Alistair Overeem defeats Roy Nelson UFC 185

DALLAS – Alistair Overeem pummeled Roy Nelson’s body and slipped away from his haymakers en route to a unanimous decision victory. It was a sharp, tactical performance that saw Overeem (39-14 MMA, 4-3 UFC) survive a late knockdown to hold on for the win over a battered and weathered Nelson (20-11 MMA, 7-7 UFC), taking home a trio of 30-27 scores. The fight started quite slowly as the two men felt each other out, and it took 50 seconds for Overeem to finally do anything. But once he got going, he really put it on Nelson over the course of the first round. Basically he used three weapons - oblique kicks, outside leg kicks, and knees. Lots, and lots of knees. Nelson cornered him once and beat him up a bit, but it was his only meaningful offense of the round.Herb Dean is the ref. Heavyweights following up the flyweights. Could be quick. They touch gloves. Reem in the orthodox stance. Oblique kick to the thigh from Overeem. Nelson trying to wade into striking range, half-protecting his head, trying to get inside the 8-inch reach advantage. Big overhand right from Nelson, doesn't get in flush. Overeem with a leg kick, and he rolls back out. Nelson tries a body punch, but no mustard on it. Both guys looking to land the anvil, and Nelson comes in with with a flurry, landing a left hook. Knee to the body from Overeem, who is content to land and get out, land and get out. Repeat. Overeem picking Nelson apart at range, but now Nelson comes in with a bunch of huge shots on the fence as Overeem covers up. Overeem takes and takes, then returns fire. He's fine! Wow. Now a big leg kick momentarily doubles over Nelson, who staggers on fence. His leg is already a mess, with a welt forming. Body shot from Overeem, and just as Nelson goes low Overeem lands a knee to his upper-chest.Nelson a little unsteady on his feet, his lead leg getting brutalized. Big right hand from Overeem, and his mouthpiece comes flying out! But Overeem doesn't fall. Instead he coolly lands a body kick, and another. Same game plan for the Jackson-Winkeljohn fighter. Nelson is tough, man. He is trying to size Overeem up to land something big. Just as Nelso nwinds up, Overeem peels out of there and does a hot lap around cage, to the immense displeasure of the Dallas crowd. Overeem with a takedown attempt, which works somewhat but Nelson bounces back up. It's Nelson holding center. Knee to the body from Overeem, and he eats a right hand up top for his efforts. Oblique kick from Overeem on Nelson's lead leg. Nelson caught Overeem again as he went for a takedown and nearly landed a huge blow after defending the take down. Overeem seemed to regain his composure and landed a series of kicks to Nelson’s body. Nelson got Overeem against the cage and landed some big blows to his midsection. Overeem landed an overhand and a kick to open the round, though the better part of the first minute was spent jockeying for position. Overeem dropped Nelson with a rather vicious knee to the groin that caused a stop in the fight. Nelson went for it when the fight resumed and Overeem looked in trouble. But after landing some good shots, Nelson went for the take down rather ineffectively instead of seizing the opportunity. Overeem landed a huge kick to the head that hurt Nelson. Overeem landed another few kicks to the body. In the final seconds of the round, Nelson landed a big left hand and Overeem wound up with his back on the mat. Nelson couldn’t take advantage and ended up pinning him up against the cage and waiting for the round to end.The win makes it two in a row for Overeem, who now has his first winning streak since coming to the UFC in 2011. Nelson has now lost four of his last five.

Heat's Hassan Whiteside And Suns' Alex Len Ejected

Hassan Whiteside dunked on Alex Len during Monday night’s Heat-Suns game in Miami. Len didn’t seem to like it. Whiteside didn’t seem to like Len’s reaction. After a rebound and putback dunk from Whiteside, Len gave the Heat big man a shove to let him know it wasn't appreciated. Whiteside responded by staying low and delivering a tackle that had the two 7-footers scrapping on the ground. Earlier in the game, Whiteside came down on Len with his arm and tempers nearly flared, so this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Hassan Whiteside isn't a man who backs down from challenges. After he dunked on Alex Len's head and clipped him with his arm tonight, Len tried to throw Whiteside to the floor. Len gave Whiteside a push after he landed on top of him, and Whiteside retaliated with an NFL form tackle, going after Len's legs and grappling both of them to the ground. Teammates crowded the scene and the two were eventually separated, with minimal spillover and no participants coming off the bench.

Los Angeles police shoots homeless man pointblank

Los Angeles (AFP) - Los Angeles police officers shot dead a homeless man in an incident that was caught on video and posted online, local media reported. The graphic video, which was posted on Facebook, shows a violent altercation between a man and several officers in LA's Skid Row area near downtown. The circumstances around the shooting were not immediately clear but the video appears to show a man flailing at officers as they try to subdue him. “Drop the gun,” officers shout several times with their own guns drawn. About five shots can be heard on the video. Witnesses believed the man had been killed by police, but CBS reported he was taken to a hospital by paramedics. The Los Angeles Times later reported he was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after he arrived. An area resident, who identified himself as Booker T. Washington, said police had come by repeatedly to ask Africa to take down his tent. People are allowed to sleep on the streets from 9 p.m to 6 a.m., but they are supposed to remove their tents in the daytime, under a court agreement. Another resident also said that police had asked Africa multiple times to dismantle his tent, in accordance to a court ruling that allows folks to sleep on Skid Row at night as long as they take down their tents during the day. LAPD spokesman Sgt. Barry Montgomery said the officers were responding to a robbery call on the 500 block of San Pedro Street. No officers were hurt. The name of the victim has not been released. There will be an investigation to determine if the use of force was properly deployed.

Instead, Zingano became the fastest victim of Rousey's magnificent career.UFC 184, from Staples Center in Los Angeles, was all about the females for the first time ever. In co-main events, bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey faced undefeated challenger Cat Zingano, and UFC newcomer Holly Holm took on Raquel Pennington. As expected, the women did not disappoint, especially Rousey, who broke a UFC record by defeating her opponent in 14 seconds with her trademark armbar after Zingano came out charging. Zingano comes flying in with a knee and looks for a takedown but Rousey reverses her beautifully into top position and grabs an armbar from an awkward angle for the submission in just seconds. Another electric performance by the champion.

Madonna Crashes And Burns during Brit Awards Performance 2015

Tonight in London, Madonna put her love to the test at the BRIT Awards. Her love failed, or at least her legs did.The 56-year-old singer was standing on a staircase leading to the stage, but because of an apparent costume malfunction with her cape, she was forcefully pulled to the ground. Like a true professional, Madonna continued on and finished the song to close the show.Performing her new single Living For Love and surrounded by dancers, Madonna was shrouded in a cape which, once unfastened, was to be removed by one of the dancers. But as Madonna fumbled with the lacing around her neck, one of the dancers yanked on it while it was still attached. Instead of the planned revelation of Madonna's costume, the malfunction resulted in Madge being yanked backwards and her tumbling down a staircase on the stage. We hope Madonna is okay! Right after the fall, she got back up and danced like a total pro.

Coach Rajon Rondo and Dallas Coach Rick Carlisle Have Heated Exchange

DALLAS -- Point guard Rajon Rondo did not play the final 20-plus minutes of the Dallas Mavericks' 99-92 win over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night, after a profanity-laced shouting match with coach Rick Carlisle over play-calling responsibilities. The incident occurred with 8:10 remaining in the third quarter, when Carlisle stormed out on the American Airlines Center court to call a timeout and shouted at Rondo, who appeared to be ignoring a play call from the bench as he brought the ball up the floor.Rondo responded by shouting back at Carlisle. They exchanged heated words for much of the timeout, with assistant coach Jamahl Mosley at one point stepping in front of Rondo to prevent the point guard and coach from getting in each other's faces. Here's what happened. With 8:22 left in the third quarter, Carlisle and Rondo had some sort of dispute. It appeared Carlisle wanted a timeout called, something Rondo ignored, leading to Carlisle calling it himself. As he came to the bench, Carlisle exchanged heated words with Rondo and took him out of the game. He did not return.Carlisle had the highly publicized benching of Rajon Rondo in January. In a podcast around the trade, Grantland's Bill Simmons and Zach Lowe said they heard whispers that Carlisle may not have been totally sold on the trade when it happened. This is unconfirmed and clearly Carlisle signed off on the trade in some form, but it's interesting in this context. After the timeout, Carlisle inserted Devin Harris for Rondo, who remained sidelined for the duration of the game. He finished with four points (on 2-for-6 shooting), four assists and two rebounds in 18 minutes. “It’s just a coach’s decision," Carlisle said of Rondo's departure. "We’ve talked about these before. I thought it worked out well. The other guys stepped up and we were able to win the game.”This isn’t the first time Carlisle benched Rondo, who was acquired in a mid-season trade with the Celtics. It’s not too surprising Rondo and Carlisle, both of whom can be difficult, have crossed each other. But, now, it’s up to both to move past what could go down as a minor incident. That should be easier to do with the Mavericks winning. Arguments almost always resolve themselves more quickly after victories.

JOHN LEGEND AND COMMON Glory Performance Oscars 2015 87th Academy Awards

John Legend and Common performed “Glory” from Selma at the 87th Academy Awards on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Another stunning performance at the Oscars. Two weeks after the song closed the Grammys, the rapper and the singer performed their song at the Academy Awards, where it was nominated for Best Original Song. After the pair’s performance, which featured a chorus marching behind Common and Legend and practically into the audience, several audience members (including Selma star David Oyelowo and Chris Pine) were visibly in tears. The song itself is a soaring marvel, flying on the wings of John Legends's vocals. But there's also a brutal, brilliant strength to it with Common's rapping. There's an added level of emotion to this performance. Selma, the movie in which "Glory" appears, was left out of the Best Director and Best Actor categories — a reminder that the Oscars still perpetually struggle with diversity. The anthem about racial injustice -- which touches on everything from the civil rights movement of the 1960s to the recent events in Ferguson, Missouri -- won Best Original Song shortly after the performance. Other nominees in the category include "Grateful" by Diane Warren for "Beyond the Lights"; "Everything Is Awesome" by Shawn Patterson for "The Lego Movie"; "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," by Glenn Campbell and Julian Raymond for "I'll Be Me"; and "Lost Stars" by Danielle Brisebois and Gregg Alexander for "Begin Again."

Frank Mir knocks out Bigfoot Silva in 1st Round in 100 seconds

The UFC returns to Brazil for a rare Sunday fight card featuring a headlining heavyweight fight between Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and former champion Frank Mir.Mir wasn't ready to quit, however. He felt he wasn't training properly and wanted to give himself one last chance. In addition to preparing better, Mir worked long hours on his boxing with Angelo Reyes.Mir needed only 100 seconds to dispose of Silva Sunday in the main event of a UFC card in Porto Alegre, Brazil, looking very much like the man who once was an elite contender. Mir, who came out in a right-handed stance after boxing as a southpaw for years, also showed a new punch. Mir was never much of a jabber, but it was his jab which set everything up. He landed a couple of good shots behind the jab early, and then the jab was the key to the finishing sequence. Mir, who was clearly quicker and more athletic than the ponderous Brazilian, landed a hard jab followed by a quick left hook. The left hook dumped Silva onto his back, and Mir hurriedly finished the job.Frank pounced immediately with several more punches before Mario Yamasaki stopped the fight after Mir plastered Bigfoot with a series of skull-thumping elbows. Official result: Frank Mir def. Antonio Silva via KO (punches and elbows) at 1:40 of round 1. It's the 8th time that Mir has won a UFC fight within the first 2 minutes of the opening round, and his 15th win inside the Octagon in his 14th year with the promotion. As for Bigfoot, he's now been (T)KO'd 5 times since 2011, and was also knocked down in his no contest vs. Mark Hunt in 2013. Now without a win in 4, that may very well be the last we see of him in a UFC cage.

87th academy awards 2015 Rita Ora Perform ‘Grateful’ at the Oscars

Rita Ora, who’s currently onscreen as Christian Grey’s sister in the romantic drama, performed the theme song to Beyond the Lights at the Oscars. The 24-year-old entertainer sang the song “Grateful” from the movie Beyond the Lights – the song is nominated this evening.Singing was on point in her "Grateful" performance, the real star of the show was Ora's gown. The black and white gown was structured perfectly, with the high-low pleated skirt being the most stunning part of the ensemble. With her lips painted a bright red and a diamond-encrusted snake necklace around her neck, Ora was the picture of perfection. As for the actual music, Ora looked and sounded fittingly grateful, smiling and singing with poise that matched her gown. And all the while, Ora was raised on a pedestal, adding drama to the already lovely performance.

Neil Patrick Harris performs ‘Moving Pictures’ Opening Number 87th Oscars 2015

Neil Patrick Harris opened the 2015 Oscars with a stunning “Moving Pictures” opening number. He was assisted by Anna Kendrick and Jack Black. This was NPH’s first time to host the Academy Award.Harris got right to business and open the ceremony by poking fun at the Academy for the lack of diversity in tonight's nominees by saying "tonight we honor the best and whitest .. sorry, brightest!" Following a few quick jokes, he broke into a comedic song and dance performance about the magic of moving pictures with the help of "Into the Woods" actress Anna Kendrick and comedian Jack Black. Then things got even crazier when Jack Black joined in to perform a spoken-word number from Into the Woods (done in the film by Meryl Streep). Of course, the lyrics were changed to be just a bit more Tenacious D. "Who will get her statue, the results are coming at you, at the 87th Oscars moving picture show" Harris memorably concluded the number.

NASCAR driver Kyle Busch was involved in what appeared to be a serious accident at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday.Busch sustained a right lower leg compound fracture and left mid-foot fracture in the crash with eight laps remaining Saturday at Daytona International Speedway. Joe Gibbs Racing said he was undergoing surgery on his right leg and is out indefinitely.Busch needed assistance getting out of his car after it slammed into a wall that did not have an energy-absorbing steel-and-foam energy reduction (SAFER) barrier. His right leg was placed in an air cast before he was transported by ambulance to nearby Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, where he was undergoing surgery Saturday night for a compound fracture of his lower right leg. He also suffered a mid-foot fracture in his left foot.Busch will reportedly miss the Daytona 500 on Sunday with a right leg injury, according to multiple reports. The race will be without either of the Busch brothers for the first time since 2000 as Kurt Busch was suspended indefinitely by NASCAR Friday for acts against his ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll. Daytona International Speedway president Joie Chitwood said the track should have had SAFER barriers on every part of the track and took responsibility for the injury to Busch.

UAE : Massive fire engulfs Dubai 'Torch' residential tower

A massive blaze has engulfed the ‘Marina Torch’ skyscraper in Dubai, forcing hundreds of people to flee the 336-meter-high tower – one of the tallest residential buildings in the world. It took firefighters over two hours to bring the fire under control. The fire initially started in the middle of the tower, rapidly spreading across some 15 floors, intensifying and reigniting with each gust of wind, according to photos and videos from the scene. There were no immediate reports of deaths or injuries in the blaze, which was believed to have started around the 52nd floor. The building is part of the densely populated and highrise-filled marina district, popular among Dubai's ex-patriate population. The fire was brought under control around 4 a.m. local time, Gulf Business reported, adding that only a few floors appeared to have been "gutted" by the blaze.Local media reported that upwards of 10 fire engines responded after the blaze broke out near the 50th floor, and that police had blocked off the area and evacuated nearby buildings. Resident Mehdi Ansari told NBC News that the fire had spread to 10 or 15 floors. A witness told Gulf News it was like seeing the Titanic going down."Debris from the fire cluttered nearby streets after the blaze appeared to be extinguished," the Associated Press reported. Frank Strait said due to the height of the building, winds may have been closer to 50 mph. According to the Associated Press, residents in neighboring structure adjacent to the 70-story building were asked to evacuate due to the fierce winds.

Sterling Gibbs ejected for hitting Ryan Arcidiacono

During Monday night's matchup between Seton Hall and Villanova, Pirates guard Sterling Gibbs was ejected for taking a cheap shot at the Wildcats' Ryan Arcidiacono while the two fought for a loose ball.Gibbs was ejected from the game and could face suspension after Big East officials review film of the incident. Willard told reporters he didn't see the play and needed to review film before commenting. Willard acknowledged his team is struggling after its eighth loss in 10 games.Gibbs had played 32 minutes and scored 12 points at the time of his ejection. Arcidiacono scored 10 points, one of five Villanova starters in double figures. Gibbs is probably frustrated that sorry Seton Hall went from looking at an NCAA tourney berth in early January to NIT-bound in mid-February. The Pirates have work to do to get back on the bubble.

UFC Fight Night 60 Benson Henderson def. Brandon Thatch (rear-naked choke) – 4th Round

Benson Henderson long resisted the prospect of one day moving up to the UFC welterweight division, but his first performance at 170 pounds showed his skills are formidable as a heavier fighter. Henderson (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC), an ex-champ in the lightweight division, wore down a dangerous Brandon Thatch (10-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) on the ground and secured a submission victory in the fourth round, less than one month after a disappointing decision loss to top contender Donald Cerrone at 155 pounds. Henderson came out more aggressive than he usually is, battering Thatch's legs with hard kicks and landing two powerful body punches. Thatch walked him down for most of the round and showed off his superior power, scoring with his own kicks, some punches, and a nice flying knee. Henderson didn't attempt a takedown. Thatch got off to a good start in round two, backing Henderson up and peppering him with body kicks. Bendo's hands continued to look impressive, and he was able to keep scoring to the body. But over the second half of the round, Thatch was landing harder shots and even threw Henderson to the mat twice. Emphatically. He wouldn't engage on the ground though, and let him back up.Thatch continued to push forward. Thatch attempted another trip, but Henderson was able to shake it off. Henderson then went for a takedown of his own. Thatch was doing well defending the takedown against the cage, but he got sloppy and Henderson ended up completing the attempt. Henderson easily transitioned to Thatch’s back. Henderson didn’t do much with the position, but he was able to ride out the dominant position and made Thatch work.Henderson was clearly the fresher fighter entering the fourth frame and he was relaxed and confident in his movements around the cage. Thatch, meanwhile, was left reaching as he tried to chase down the much quicker fighter. Henderson’s early body work was paying off. Henderson landed a perfectly timed takedown midway through the round. Henderson quickly took Thatch’s back and began working for a submission. Henderson was overwhelming Thatch on the mat. Henderson eventually got his arm under Thatch’s neck and forced the tap.

Rihanna, Kanye West And Paul McCartney Perform ‘FourFiveSeconds’ 57th Annual Grammy Awards

Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney performed “FourFiveSeconds” at the Grammy Awards 2015. I LOVE THIS. Understated and perfect. Rihanna’s necklace, yes. The collaboration is from Rihanna’s eighth studio album. This was first time the trio performed the song together.Rihanna, Kanye and Paul totally rocked the Staples Center! The unstoppable trio’s voices blended together in a surprisingly beautiful way when they joined forces to perform their upbeat new song.It was clear that Kanye was so excited to be on stage with the legendary Paul McCartney. Yeezy himself has declared that he doesn’t like to smile in pictures — or in life, really — but that definitely didn’t apply to this performance! On stage at the 2015 Grammy Awards, they traded the matching denim from their music video for classy black suits, but otherwise kept the performance focused on the music.Their performance got nearly everyone in the auditorium on their feet. Even West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, who didn’t stand for any other performance, was on her feet, clapping and singing. “Four Five Second,” a tune different than much of the music West and Rihanna usually put out, was released Tuesday. It has more than 17.5 million views on YouTube, which will only probably climb after Sunday’s live Grammy performance.McCartney’s microphone didn’t appear to be working, but he continued to play his guitar. The crowd didn’t seem to mind and applauded the former Beatle anyway. Their three-way collaboration came after a country set by Eric Church and Brandy Clark. It’s a move that seemed to heighten “Four Five Seconds.”

AC/DC did not receive any Grammy nominations, as their ‘Rock or Bust’ album and singles came out too late in 2014 for consideration in this year’s awards. After the performance, host LL Cool J referred to the band as "devilishly good." In 2010, AC/DC won the Grammy for best hard rock performance for "War Machine." The band has previously been nominated for six other Grammys.

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather meet at Heat game

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio, who have continued to posture back and forth in recent weeks/months/years but still not yet settled on any sort of fight date, were sitting courtside opposite from each other at tonight’s Heat-Bucks game. The boxers were seated almost directly opposite of each other in courtside seats during the game. At halftime, Mayweather walked across the court to Pacquiao and engaged in a conversation. There were theatrics, of course, but no trash talking.Mayweather did not respond to a question asked by an AP reporter. "Not now," one of his security guards said, as Mayweather fiddled with his phone. A bout between the two would almost certainly be the richest ever in boxing, potentially grossing as much as $250 million. Mayweather's take alone could exceed $100 million. Mayweather said last month that he's ready to make the fight happen May 2. Asked Tuesday if that date can finally be the one, Pacquiao — who has said it's time to give boxing fans what they want — nodded and said "yes."The two actually spoke at halftime of the game, with Mayweather walking over to Pac-Man and initiating the conversation. They even shook hands and Manny gave Floyd a little bro hug afterwards.Pacquiao later spoke with the media and said it was the first time he had ever talked with Mayweather. He got Floyd’s cell phone number too. This meeting was huge for obvious reasons. There have been talks for years about the two fighting, though nothing has ever materialized. Pacquiao even said he had accepted contract terms from Floyd and recently set a deadline for Mayweather to accept the fight. My guess is that if the two fight, it won’t be until Floyd is out of his contract with Showtime.

WWE 30 Man Battle Royal 2015 Roman Reigns wins Royal Rumble Match 2015

At Sunday night's WWE Royal Rumble event, Roman Reigns won the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, last eliminating Big Show and Kane at the same time. By virtue of his victory, Reigns will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 31.The first two wrestlers to enter the ring was Miz and R-Truth. But the final six to remain in the ring is Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Roman Reigns, Kane, Dean Ambrose and Big Show. The final four left in the match were Reigns, Big Show, Kane and Rusev. Reigns eliminated Kane and Big Show, only to have the return get back into the ring anyway and attack Reigns. Then The Rock made his shocking return to WWE to make the save for Reigns and take out Show and Kane. After Reigns and The Rock dispatched Kane and Big Show, Rusev, who had been outside the ring but not eliminated, tried to pull a fast one and eliminate Reigns, but the former Shield powerhouse was too smart for that, delivering an earth-shattering Spear to Rusev before easily tossing him out of the ring to win the 2015 Royal Rumble Match and move on to the Main Event of Wrestlemania XXXI for a WWE title match.Curiously, the fans in the audience were not as impressed by Reigns’ performance, booing the former Shield member upon his victory. Then again, pretty much anyone who wasn’t either Ryback, Dolph Ziggler or of course Daniel Bryan probably would have been the recipient of a frustrated Philadelphia crowd.Roman Reigns’ chances of winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania XXXI.

UFC Fight Night 59 Donald Cerrone def. Benson Henderson

UFC Fight Night 59’s co-main event saw Donald Cerrone (27-6 MMA, 14-3 UFC) finally defeat Benson Henderson (21-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) in the third meeting between the top lightweights. After suffering losses to Henderson in 2009 and 2010, Cerrone entered the third bout with “Smooth” as an injury replacement just 15 days after fighting at UFC 182. While it wasn’t his most convincing performance, “Cowboy” walked away with a unanimous decision victory.Maybe it was fitting that Cerrone, and not Henderson, got the somewhat surprising nod from the judges this time, since this was a fight with no shortage of role reversals. While Henderson is usually the one looking for takedowns and his opponents the ones to fend them off, this time it was Cerrone who accounted for the wrestling in the fight, taking Henderson down twice. In another twist, it was Henderson who did the majority of his work with kicks, included some unorthodox attacks to Cerrone’s thighs, as well as some hard shots to the body. All of that added up to a perplexing offense that Cerrone struggled to figure out. When he charged in at Henderson, he often found himself swinging at air. When he hung back and got caught reacting to feints, he ended up on the receiving end of some unpredictable striking.Henderson staying busy with front-leg side kicks, but they're not landing with much. Cerrone responds with a low kick and they clinch. Henderson throws a lead elbow and misses, but makes up for it with a body shot and leg kick. Henderson staying busy with short kicks to Cerrone's lead legs, but isn't landing much else. However, he does score a body shot. Hard double thigh leg kick from Henderson, although he whiffs on a check hook. Solid one-two from Cerrone from a clinch break. Cerrone catches a kick and tries to kick Henderson's post leg out, but he stays on his feet. Hard knee to the body now for Henderson. Good right hook to the body scores for Henderson. He is taken down again by Cerrone, but stands up immediately. Cerrone catches Henderson again charging in with double underhooks, but the former champ wiggles free. The two trade smaller leg kicks. Henderson lands with another flying knee to the body, plus a jab as they separate. The two trade body kicks, but neither of them land.

LeBron James Coach Pushes David Blatt to the sideline against Phoenix Suns

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt knows how important LeBron James is to the team both in terms of morale and on-court ability. When the King picked up a highly questionable offensive foul while tied up with Marcus Morris during a contest with the host Phoenix Suns Tuesday night, Blatt got heated in the ref's face. In the Cleveland Cavaliers' first half against the Suns Tuesday, David Blatt was consulting with an official about a call. LeBron James wanted to go ahead and get the play started, and didnt' want his coach to pick up a tech. And so LeBron, being the helpful guy he is, escorted Blatt to the sideline, some might say pushing him to the sideline so the Suns could inbound the ball. After the game, Blatt and James downplayed the exchange, with Blatt explaining that James was trying to prevent him from receiving a technical foul. But some saw it differently while watching the game ... as evidence that James has little regard for Blatt and isn't listening to him. Others targeted James for scorn, saying he overstepped his bounds. It likely is much ado about nothing. NBA writer Matt Moore of CBSSports.com recalls that James caused an uproar during his first season with the Miami Heat when he bumped into coach Erik Spoelstra. That worked out OK: They went to four straight NBA Finals, won two titles and Spoelstra is still coaching the Heat.

Jon Jones title defense against Daniel Cormier at UFC 182
