Big man Nick Collison and point guard Austin Rivers were ejected for fighting during Monday night's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans.
The incident began when Rivers shoved Collison during an Oklahoma City possession and continued to the other end when Collison ran into Rivers in the open court.
They bumped again in the paint, igniting a brief shoving match with 7:56 remaining in the first half.Officials looked at the exchange on video replay before ejecting the players, leaving New Orleans with no regular point guard. Shooting guard Tyreke Evans has taken over that spot.
