Even the surviving members of Nirvana can’t outshine Stevie Nicks. The Fleetwood Mac singer served as the musical guest on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and she did not disappoint. With Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic looking on, Nicks teamed with Fallon to spoof her video with Tom Petty for “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around”. Later on, she offered a more traditional music performance, offering a dazzling rendition of “Edge of Seventeen” accompanied by The Roots.
The song was originally done by Tom Petty and Nicks in 1981. Some of you may remember the days when this song and video were in constant rotation. Some of you are no doubt going "WHO THE HELL IS TOM PETTY OMG WHY IS THAT VIDEO SO FUZZY WTF." I will not judge you for this.Stevie still singing the classics, good for her.
Stevie Nicks will tour with her original band Fleetwood Mac starting September 20, 2014 in Minneapolis.
