Massive Brawl Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Redskins

PHILADELPHIA -- Two players were ejected following a hockey-style, benches-clearing incident during Sunday's game between the rival Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles threw an apparent interception to Bashaud Breeland when he overthrew tight end Brent Celek on a fourth-quarter drive. As Breeland was tackled while returning the interception, Foles stopped his pursuit and was knocked off his feet on a hit by Washington nose tackle Chris Baker, prompting a scuffle to break out on the Redskins' sideline.Foles threw an interception that was eventually overturned, and on the ensuing return, Baker hit him with a cheap shot from behind. Foles was hurt, but would stay in the game once the fighting stopped.During a Washington return of what appeared to be an interception, Baker sent Foles to the ground with a big hit. Things got out of control for a few minutes thereafter.A multiplayer fight spilled onto the Washington sideline. Dozens of players were pushing and punching, even players not on the field at the start of the play. It took time to separate the teams. At one point, the referee had to announce that both teams were instructed to return to their sidelines, leaving just the officials and numerous yellow flags on the field.
