Heat's Hassan Whiteside And Suns' Alex Len Ejected

Hassan Whiteside dunked on Alex Len during Monday night’s Heat-Suns game in Miami. Len didn’t seem to like it. Whiteside didn’t seem to like Len’s reaction. After a rebound and putback dunk from Whiteside, Len gave the Heat big man a shove to let him know it wasn't appreciated. Whiteside responded by staying low and delivering a tackle that had the two 7-footers scrapping on the ground. Earlier in the game, Whiteside came down on Len with his arm and tempers nearly flared, so this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Hassan Whiteside isn't a man who backs down from challenges. After he dunked on Alex Len's head and clipped him with his arm tonight, Len tried to throw Whiteside to the floor. Len gave Whiteside a push after he landed on top of him, and Whiteside retaliated with an NFL form tackle, going after Len's legs and grappling both of them to the ground. Teammates crowded the scene and the two were eventually separated, with minimal spillover and no participants coming off the bench.
