Blackhawks' Rozsival leaves game with gruesome leg injury

Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival left tonight’s fourth game of Chicago’s series against the Wild with a horrific-looking ankle injury that left his skate pointing in the exact opposite direction that feet are supposed to go.With about 6 1/2 minutes played in the second period, Rozsival fell down while trying to guard Thomas Vanek, who went in on a short breakaway that Corey Crawford turned aside. His left leg took the brunt of the fall, and it was immediately clear from the expression on Rozsival’s face that the tumble was as painful as it looked. Less than a minute after he left, the Blackhawks conceded their first goal of the game, a Patrick Haula wrist shot with 13:19 left in the second period.
