'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' Got Sung to Sleep by the Men of ‘Full House

First, the men of Full House reunited in an Oikos Super Bowl ad. Then Wednesday night, they gathered together once again to give us the reunion we really wanted: Bob Saget, John Stamos, and David Coulier reprised their Full House roles in a skit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where the three helped quell Jimmy’s fears about leaving for The Tonight Show.Danny Tanner, Uncle Joey, and Uncle Jesse stop by Jimmy's bedroom to teach him a life lesson about leaving "Late Night."You oughta know that Fallon's prop guys, though, had some terrible '80s wigs they were able to lend Bob Saget (what up, Temple?), Stamos, and Dave Coulier as they fell back on their time mentoring DJ, Stephanie and Michelle, encouraging Fallon and assuring him that everything would work out just fine. We’ll give Bob Saget a pass because that’s obviously his real hair. Bless the Late Night staff, they even recreated Michelle Tanner’s big girl bed for Fallon to pretend sleep in.The men of Full House, they’re not just in yogurt commercials anymore!

Marshawn Lynch Media Day Interview Super Bowl 2014

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch hasn't talked to the media very much this season, but when he finally got in front of a microphone at Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday, he ended up giving arguably the best interview of the day. However, Lynch did not leave the Prudential Center. (Heck, it was probably a long walk back to the hotel). Instead, Lynch hung around and spoke with teammates, wearing dark sunglasses and a hoodie to conceal his identity. NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders tracked down Lynch, though, and that's when things got weird. Lynch started the live interview with an s-bomb, which Sanders ignored. It ended with Lynch referring to himself in the third person as "Beast Mode," his nickname. After starting the interview off with a little swear word, Lynch shared why he isn’t a big fan of talking with the members of the media. He went on to give an entertaining interview that even included some comments in the third-person and everyone on social media seemed to love the moment.

Paul Pierce Emotional Boston Celtics Return Tribute

Former Celtics Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were honored with JumboTron video tributes in their first return to Boston since an offseason trade, when the Nets visited TD Garden on Sunday. Pierce, 36, was a 1998 lottery pick who spent the first 15 seasons of his career with the Celtics, making 10 All-Star Game appearances and earning four All-NBA selections. The small forward and longtime Celtics captain — nicknamed “The Truth” — ranks No. 3 in Celtics franchise history in games played, No. 2 in points, No. 7 in rebounds, No. 1 in steals and No. 4 in blocks.Garnett looked down at first, but eventually his eyes wandered to the video that showed his time in Boston from the press conference heralding the arrival of the New Big Three to his postgame yell after eliminating the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals: "Anything is possible!" He waved to the crowd, blew a kiss, thumped his chest and smiled at all of the fuss. Pierce seemed more emotional, looking up from the bench as his NBA life was replayed on the screen. From the time the Celtics took him 10th overall in the 1998 draft until last summer's trade, the player known as "The Truth" had spent his entire career in Boston. In addition to the on-court highlights, which included him receiving the '08 NBA Finals MVP trophy, Pierce's video had several scenes of him reading to children and working in the community as well as a clip of Jack Nicholson shouting, "You can't handle the truth."During the first TV timeout of the game, a video tribute to Garnett was shown on the TD Garden Jumbotron. But that was nothing compared to the reception Pierce (who had played his entire NBA career with the Celtics before this season) received during the break between the first and second quarters:Pierce averaged 21.8 points and 6.0 rebounds over 15 seasons with the Celtics, amassing 24,021 regular season points to become the second-leading scorer in franchise history. He was named the 2008 Finals MVP after helping the team end a 22-year championship drought against the Los Angeles Lakers. Friday night, Pierce tried to tell reporters what it might feel like to play in Boston for the first time as a visitor. "Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of emotions," he said. "You play your whole life there, you won a championship there, I mean, being the first time coming (back)...I never thought it would happen, but it is and it'll be here Sunday."

Royal Rumble 2014 Batista Wins 30-Man Battle Royal WWE

After being away from the sport for nearly four years, former WWE and world heavyweight champion Batista won the 30-man over-the-top-rope Battle Royal at the 2014 Royal Rumble on Sunday, Jan. 26.Batista entered the Rumble at No. 28, and outlasted Roman Reigns to win the epic event.Reigns broke the record for the most eliminations in the Royal Rumble and had the crowd behind him at the end of the night. When Rey Mysterio came out at No. 30 instead of Daniel Bryan, Mysterio -- normally a fairly over babyface -- was booed heavily. The rumble came to an end quickly after it was down to the final two. Reigns was on a record run of eliminating 12 men in the contest but wasn’t able to get the 13th that would’ve punched his ticket. He tried to whip Batista over the rope. Instead, Batista reversed and threw him over the top rather effortlessly to win the match and a trip to WrestleMania XXX and the main event for the WWE title.

Benson Henderson vs. Josh Thomson Full Fight UFC on Fox 10

Former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson hoped to earn another shot at the belt with an impressive showing against Josh Thomson. Instead, Henderson had to settle for a hard-fought split-decision win that earned a chorus of boos from the crowd in attendance. The lightweight bout was the main event of Saturday's UFC on Fox 10 event at United Center in Chicago. It aired on Fox after prelims on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Henderson took the center to start the contest and earned a smile from Thomson with an early high kick. Thomson quickly countered by moving inside and wrapping the body, slamming Henderson to the floor and immediately using his legs to lock in a body triangle an secure the back. Henderson patiently battled the hands as he looked for opportunities to escape, while Thomson looked at both the arm and the neck for potential submission opportunities. That unfortunate set of circumstances leaves the lightweight division without a number one contender, which is hard to believe considering the level of talent that occupies it. The quick and easy answer is to get T.J. Grant back into the number two spot after recovering from a concussion last fall.Thomson indicated to his corner after the second round that he thought he broke his hand, and Henderson came out aggressive in the third with a flurry of punches and a late takedown. In the fifth, Thomson landed a right hand and a sweeping leg kick, then got a hold of a kick attempt by Henderson and pushed him into the side of the cage. Henderson was able to get in one last body shot at the end of the round that ended with some boos from the crowd. Henderson gave up the title after being submitted by Anthony Pettis on an armbar at UFC 164. Henderson had a seven-fight winning streak going into the fight against Pettis, the second-longest run in lightweight history.Henderson's victory throws the lightweight division into question. Thomson was scheduled to get a title shot at champion Anthony Pettis in December, but Pettis had to pull out and undergo knee surgery. Henderson is the clear-cut No. 2 in the division, but he has lost twice to Pettis. Those are Henderson's only two losses in his past 19 fights, as he improved to 20-3. Thomson dropped to 20-6 with 1 no-contest.

Injured Kowalczyk wins Olympic cross-country gold Medal

Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk, skiing on a broken foot, produced a one-sided victory at the Olympics Thursday in the 10-kilometer cross-country race. Kowalczyk won by nearly 20 seconds to give her a second cross-country Olympics gold. She also won the 30-kilometer, mass start race in Vancouver. The Polish skier injured both her left foot and ankle last month and on the day after the opening ceremonies in Sochi she put a picture of the X-ray of her foot on Facebook. That picture showed a fracture, but it did not keep her away from the skiing course at these Games. Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland wins women's 10K classical despite fractured foot As her rivals tired in the heat, Kowalczyk showed exactly why this is her signature event, powering forward relentlessly toward the finish line to finish in 28 minutes, 17.8 seconds. She probably won't mind the pain too much after earning her second career gold medal, having won the 30K classical race in Vancouver four years ago. That time, she beat Marit Bjoergen of Norway in a tight sprint finish. On Thursday, there was never any drama as no one could keep up. Bjoergen, who won her fourth Olympic gold on Saturday in the skiathlon, was only 1.9 seconds back after 2.3 kilometers, but that gap grew to 9 seconds by the halfway point and the Norwegian simply ran out of steam after that. She finished fifth, 33.4 behind.
