Tonight's (Sat., Sept. 21, 2013) UFC 165: "Jones vs. Gustafsson" pay-per-view (PPV) event from Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, features Jon Jones, quite possibly the sport's greatest fighter, defending his Light Heavyweight championship against Alexander Gustafsson, a relative unknown who just might have the skills to dethrone the king.In the co-main event, expected winner Renan Barao takes on Eddie Wineland. An upset in that bout would certainly make headlines, so it will be interesting to see how Barao responds in defending his interim bantamweight title.Both fighters are 26 years old, but Gustafsson has a slight height advantage at 6 ft 5 inches, compared to Jones' 6 feet 4 inches. However, in reach Jones has a clear advantage with a reach of 84.5", where as Gustafsson has a reach of just 81.2". Both weighed in at 205 lbs.
Supporting Jones vs Gustafsson on the main card are a stream of other good fights that should provide fans with top entertainment. Barao vs Wineland, as well as Schaub vs Mitrione should be fantastic warm up fights.
