Bryce Harper Suffered A Head Injury : Nats star kicked in head

The Nationals survived an early scare in the top of the second inning against the New York Mets on Monday when Bryce Harper was knocked woozy on a slide into second base, yet stayed in the game. Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper had a scary incident in Monday's game against the Mets in the second inning after getting kicked in the head by New York second baseman Eric Young Jr. Having drawn a leadoff walk, Harper went in hard at second base to break up a double play on Ian Desmond's grounder to third base. Harper did not appear to lose consciousness, but was on the ground for several minutes as he was tended to by trainers. He eventually was taken out of the game and walked off under his own power.
