Evan Turner dunked on LeBron James as part of a 19-0 76ers run to start the game against the two-time defending champion Miami Heat on Wednesday. With roughly 10:30 remaining in the first quarter, Turner found himself ahead of the play in transition, with only James standing between him and the hoop. Gathering himself just outside the restricted circle, Turner rose for a two-handed dunk over the top of James, who attempted to block the dunk with his right hand. It is unusual that LeBron is on the receiving end of one of these dunks, usually he is the one doing the dunking.
The Heat fought back though. At the end of the first quarter the score was 33-4, Sixers. In the second quarter the Heat went on a 14-4 run of their own to narrow the gap. The Heat can’t be counted out, even with an early big lead.
