New Mexico State vs. Utah Valley Fight (Video)

After Utah Valley secured a win over New Mexico State on their home floor Thursday, the Wolverine fans stormed the court. As time expired and fans piled onto the area of play, New Mexico's K.C. Ross-Miller zipped the basketball at a UV player. The ensuing fracas will become part of the narrative of court-stormings, a discussion that has persisted among fans and media members in college athletics.Details are still emerging from UCCU Events Center, but the already-tense scene escalated when K.C. Ross-Miller of New Mexico State threw a basketball at Utah Valley's Holton Hunsaker. Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports spoke to the Utah Valley sports information director, who indicated subsequent brawls then broke out between New Mexico State players and fans on the floor. The whole incident starts after a direct and hard toss of the basketball by New Mexico State's K.C. Ross-Miller toward Utah Valley's Holton Hunsaker. That prompted an on-court skirmish between the teams that spilled over into the rumpus as fans took over a large portion of the court. The screengrab below, provided via Deadspin's Tim Burke, shows New Mexico State guard Daniel Mullings as the player in the center of the scuffle. Mullings needed two older men to physically remove him from the court.Enos hit three free throws with four seconds left in regulation to force overtime and made four more in the last 11 seconds of the extra session. He finished with 11 points for the Wolverines (17-10, 11-3), and Zach Nelson added 10. Mullings led the Aggies (21-9, 10-4) with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Sim Bhullar had 10 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks.Utah Valley closed regulation with an 8-1 run over the last 2 1/2 minutes.
