Wearing neon-lined outfits straight out of the virtual world of TRON, Little Big Town took the stage at the 2014 CMA Awards to deliver a rousing version of "Day Drinking," a performance immediately followed by Ariana Grande singing her Nicki Minaj/Jessie J collabo "Bang Bang." First, members of Little Big Town (Kimberly Schlapman, Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Jimi Westbrook) got the stage to themselves with glow-in-the-dark band uniforms and a drumline as they performed their latest hit, the groovy “Day Drinking.” Not a Grande in sight.
Then, suddenly appearing at the back of the stage and looking wildly out of place, Grande emerged wearing her signature sky-high ponytail and a matching light-up outfit. She segued into “Bang Bang,” her collaboration with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj.The 21-year-old belted out "Bang Bang" as she took to the stage to perform with Little Big Town at the award show in Nashville Wednesday night. Grande wore a glowing crop top and mini skirt while Little Big Town lit up the stage in matching ensembles.
