On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this Monday evening, Fallon started off the week with a fantastic show. His guests included his special guest, actor and comedian Jim Carrey, the English actor and star of the BBC series, Sherlock, Benedict Cumberbatch, who he will play the game Three Word Stories with later in the show, and actress Allison Williams, who will be Peter Pan in the NBC production Peter Pan Live! The musical guest of the Tonight Show was supposed to be the rock group, U2, but they will be unable to appear.
During the show, the 38-year-old English actor chatted about photobombing U2 at the 2014 Oscars and played a game with host Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy and Benedict Cumberbatch take turns telling stories three words at a time to get each other to guess a mystery word.
While Fallon had the task of getting the Sherlock star to say unicorn, his British opponent had the tougher assignment of getting Fallon to say ‘booty’ – and let’s just say he didn’t go down the pirate’s treasure route…
We feverishly await more examples of Cumberbatch showing just why he’s possibly the greatest human being ever.
