Rachel Dratch’s character walked onto set just as Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon got into their groove. “Sadly, history has taught us that opening the show with a musical number leads to a sharp drop in ratings,” said “Debbie Downer,” complete with her signature sound effect. For the grand finale of this #SNL40 opening number, Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon sang the names of just some of the stars who will attend the 40th anniversary special. It was a fitting kickoff for what is sure to be an unforgettable night!
