Sterling Gibbs ejected for hitting Ryan Arcidiacono

During Monday night's matchup between Seton Hall and Villanova, Pirates guard Sterling Gibbs was ejected for taking a cheap shot at the Wildcats' Ryan Arcidiacono while the two fought for a loose ball.Gibbs was ejected from the game and could face suspension after Big East officials review film of the incident. Willard told reporters he didn't see the play and needed to review film before commenting. Willard acknowledged his team is struggling after its eighth loss in 10 games.Gibbs had played 32 minutes and scored 12 points at the time of his ejection. Arcidiacono scored 10 points, one of five Villanova starters in double figures. Gibbs is probably frustrated that sorry Seton Hall went from looking at an NCAA tourney berth in early January to NIT-bound in mid-February. The Pirates have work to do to get back on the bubble.
