Brad Pitt was reportedly battered by a man who jumped over a barricade to get to the actor during the Hollywood premiere of "Maleficent," which stars his longtime partner, Angelina Jolie, police said Wednesday night.
"Some guy jumped over the barricades and made contact with Brad Pitt," Officer Nuria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department said.There were no immediate details on whether Pitt was injured. Officers arrested the suspect, 25-year-old Vitalii Sediuk, on suspicion of battery.Pitt had been attending the premiere of "Maleficent" with his partner, Angelina Jolie, who stars in the film, at the time of the incident.
