Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo took an early exit from Game 3 after hitting linesman Scott Driscoll as Driscoll tried to pull him away from a fight.
Montreal's Brandon Prust and New York's Derek Dorsett dropped the gloves roughly six minutes into the first period, but only after Carcillo charged Prust (and received a minor).
Carcillo's appearance in Game 4 lasted just 1:45 before he was ejected in the first period for having a bit of a physical altercation with a linesman.
Carcillo also had a two-minute minor for charging in there while Brandon Prust and Derek Dorsett were assessed five-minute fighting majors for their bout that was taking place in the background.Dorsett wound up fighting Prust a few minutes after the late hit on Stepan. While that bout was happening, Carcillo received a game misconduct for shoving a linesman multiple times.
