FIFA World Cup 2014 Luis Suarez bites Giorgio Chiellini

The Uruguay striker appeared to sink his teeth into Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini during a cagey winner-take-all Group D match at the World Cup. The incident, which wouldn't be the first time Suarez bit another player, occurred in the 80th minute when both players collided in the Italy penalty area. The 27 year-old left teeth-marks on Chiellini's shoulder after clashing with him at the end of Uruguay's 1-0 win in Natal - where Fifa president Sepp Blatter was in attendance - that saw the South Americans qualify for the last 16. A Fifa spokesperson said: "We are awaiting the official match reports and will gather all the necessary elements in order to evaluate the matter." The two teams were 80 minutes into the game when Suárez leaned into Chiellini and appeared to chomp down HARD ... both men then tumbled to the ground. This is the 3rd time Suárez has been accused of using his pearly whites during a game. He was suspended for five games for biting at the beginning of the season.
